The local village store is extremely well stocked and open all year and will even put together a grocery order ready for you to collect on your arrival.

Make sure that you visit the famous grave of Gelert, the faithful hound of the medieval Welsh Prince Llewelyn the Great, which is the centrepiece of the village.
Mountain biking is well-catered for locally with a number of centres in the area, or if you fancy a more leisurely day out, then take the train!
the Welsh Highland Steam Railway, which now runs from Caernarfon to Porthmadog with a station in Beddgelert, you can even see the station from the garden, great for a bit of train spotting!
