The property

Plas Madoc Lodge is a cosy stone holiday cottage, close to the pretty town of Llanrwst, and a few miles from Betws y Coed.

It is perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Conwy Valley which runs north from Betws y Coed to join the sea at Conwy. Comfortably furnished, the sitting room has a wood burning stove which also provides hot water.

There is a dining area in a deep bay window looking onto the park and farmland. The kitchen is well equipped with electric hob, double oven and fridge/freezer. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, wash basin and loo.

Hot water is provided by an immersion heater. Outside there is a sheltered, paved courtyard with a table, chairs and a barbecue for outdoor meals. Visitors are welcome to walk along the drive through the beautiful park, and enjoy its peace and tranquillity.

A short walk up the road is an excellent farm shop selling local meat, vegetables and dairy products.

About the location

CONWY VALLEY

Very interesting area, very differernt to its neighbour Snodonia. The river Conwy flows through as does the main railway line through from Llandudno to Blaenau Ffestiniog, used originally to carry slate. Visit the castle at Conway and the smallest house in Wales or pop along to Betws y Coed or Llanrwst, or join the North Wales Coastal path and head off towards Llanfairfechan. Plenty of nice eating places to choose from whereever you decide to visit.
