  • "Fabulous house in wonderful setting."

We enjoyed the hot tub and play room. The house is really spacious, comfortable and warm. Great kitchen for catering and a table to accommodate all our family of fourteen. The farm itself is full of character and the owner really helpful and friendly.

  • "What a beautiful property!"

We had an amazing week at Plas Iolyn. The local area was fantastic for walks and we ventured into Betws Y Coed for a look around the shops. You don’t need to leave the house however, it is so well-equipped. The games room and hot tub kept everyone entertained and the lawned area at the front of the property was perfect for outdoor games. The log burner in the second sitting room was a very toasty touch! The house itself was equipped with every single appliance/piece of kitchen equipment you could possibly want, Iona truly has thought of everything. It is finished to an incredibly high standard and was immaculately clean throughout. All of the guests commented on the lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds (having linen and towels provided was helpful too). Iona left a beautiful Welsh hamper for us to enjoy which was a lovely touch. This property is perfect for all ages and we cannot wait to return. Thank you for a fantastic week away!

Scenery around the property is stunning. The property is finished to a very high standard, beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners live on site and are there if you need anything but leave you alone to enjoy your stay. One of our guests asked for an extension lead which was dropped off straight away. The welcome basket was a nice touch thank you. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. Cannot wait to return for another stay

  • "We had a wonderful week at Plas Iolyn."

We are a family group of ten, with ages ranging from 8 to 75 and we were all very happy. The house was warm, spacious and peaceful; it was beautifully furnished and the beds were wonderful. The large hot tub and games room were very popular. Iona, the owner, was very friendly and responded to our requests promptly. She even ( with the help of her children) judged our annual pumpkin carving competition. The house is well placed for the many activities the area has to offer.

  • "The house and rooms are so much bigger in real life than in the pictures."

Every bathroom is finished to a high standard, it's a gorgeous house. The dining table is incredible for a large group of people and the games room is a great addition. Only feedback would be that we were only left with 2 dishwasher tablets which isn't enough for 12 people for 2 nights/3days. We would have washed by hand but were left with only a tiny drop of already watered down washing up liquid.

  • "This property is a beautiful place to stay, and is so much bigger than we’d thought when we booked."

The owners were helpful and there when we needed to contact them but also left us to enjoy our stay. We all made the same comment - the beds! The beds and the bedding are insanely comfortable… it’s not often you go away and don’t miss your own bed but these were hard to leave. It’s in a beautiful spot and was perfect for a girls weekend away, but would be equally suitable for a quieter stay with friends or family. Thank you so much for having us, we loved it and really hope to be back again one day!

13 of us stayed in Plas Lolyn for a hen do and had the best weekend. The property was clean, very spacious, sociable and comfortable - and Iona was super responsive and helped us when we needed. The kitchen is a standout feature and had everything you needed - we baked cakes and had a bbq overlooking the gorgeous Welsh hills. The hot tub was a huge plus and the games room provided lots of entertainment space too! We will be definitely recommending this property to our friends and can't wait to return. Very clean could not fault. Fab hot tub with lovely views. Has everything you need. Great views and good location. Fantastic kitchen with massive dining table. Really good games room with pool table and table tennis The only downside for us was although it had lovely warm underfloor heating downstairs the upstairs was quite chilly during our February stay and none of us could get the upstairs radiators or towel rails on to warm up. However we would definitely book and stay in this wonderful property again

Go & stay here as soon as you can. It is the very best place the 8 of us have stayed either on this island or overseas. The scenery is fantastic especially from the hot tub. A completely renovated large house done with great care & taste. Comfortable beds. Very well equipped. The downstairs kitchen area has underfloor heating & it was divine. The owners are truly caring, friendly & are so helpful.
