    “Lovely Cottage comfortable inside.”

Good base for travelling North Wales. Not keen where Cottage was situated, also walk to beach was not a short walk as stated in details. It was a long walk and you needed to take a car if you were not very mobile.

The cottage

Saerdy holiday house is in the centre of the popular seaside village of Morfa Nefyn.

It has been converted from a former carpenter's workshop into charming and characterful house.

An ideal holiday ‘home from home', it is just a short walk to the gorgeous beaches at Nefyn and Porth Dinllaen, and the village shop in Morfa Nefyn offers fresh seasonal local produce. The lovely open plan sitting room is spacious, bright and welcoming.

It is decorated with a clever mix of old and new.

With comfy sofas, a wonderful log burner, TV and DVD player, this is a relaxing room with a seaside feel to it. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a dining table to seat six comfortably. There are three bedrooms upstairs.

A twin room with bunk beds, and two double rooms with a TV in both.

One double room has an en-suite with shower, loo and wash hand basin. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, heated towel rail, loo and wash hand basin. The enclosed paved courtyard area has comfortable rattan garden furniture and is a lovely sun trap in the afternoons. There is space to park one car easily next to the courtyard.

You may be able to squeeze two in! The coastline here is stunning, with sandy beaches and pretty coves.

You can walk to Porth Dinllaen and enjoy a pint at the Ty Coch pub, which is on the beach.

Or if you want to see more of the Peninsula, take a drive to nearby Abersoch and Aberdaron, or browse around the market in Pwllheli. There are boat trips to Bardsey Island, you can ride on the Welsh Highland Railway from Porthmadog, or explore Criccieth castle.

Nefyn golf course is one of the top 100 courses in the world, and the 13th fairway is a real challenge! There is no washing machine at the cottage.

However, there is a laundrette just a two minute walk down the road. Dogs are not allowed upstairs.
