The property was better in real life than the photos on the website, extremely clean and comfortable, also was bigger than anticipated. It was homely and newly refurbished, spacious and superb location. Will definitely be back.

  • "Great location in Porthmadog, plus a great base to explore north west Wales."

We always found a place on the street to park. Street is very quiet, and house and garden a great place to relax in.

It was spacious, clean and all furniture, furnishings and decor were of a high standard. The house is close to all amenities with plenty of choice for eating out or takeaway- whichever you prefer! We would not hesitate to stay there again. We’ve had a fantastic holiday! Thank you!

  • "This house was in a perfect location for us and appeared to be newly refurbished."

It had everything we needed and was really comfortable. I was nervous about the lack of parking but there was never a problem finding a space on the road or the side street next to the house. We have stayed in bigger, more expensive properties in Porthmadog before now but we will definitely stay here again next time.

  • "Great accommodation, very clean, well equipped and modern."

The location is very convenient for supermarkets, shops and the beach, all within walking distance. Good base for exploring other seaside towns, Anglesey and Snowdonia National Park. Would definitely recommend and like to return. The bathroom door is stiff to shut our only negative comment. Easy to book with Sykes, good email updates, especially with the Covid situation. We've booked for a few years now and never had any problems

  • "What a gem!"

The cottage absolutely exceeded our expectations and it was more than what we needed for a short break in North Wales. The accommodation is modern, clean and nicely decorated. The cottage is very close to the high street but on a quiet street with easy parking. There are many amazing hikes in the mountains or on the coast just a short drive away. We would definitely stay again!
