  • "Enjoyed our stay lovely apartment."

.could have done with hand rails on the stairs leading up to the apartment for health and safety . lovely area lots of dog walking areas ,few dog friendly pubs near by.

  • "The boiler fires up randomly through the night, in the spare room, very loudly."

The owner blamed it on the neighbouring apartment but this was total lies as i have 4 videos of the boiler firing up on sperate occasions. Dishonest owners and this property is not suitable for young children.

  • "We loved the location and the apartment, which was spacious and well equipped."

We have a few small niggles which would be easily addressed and would add to guests' comfort and sleep quality. Both bedrooms really need curtains or blackout blinds. The two security lights, one at the back gate, one on the stone steps, shine brightly, right into the main bedroom whenever anybody passes, and light summer mornings don't allow for restful sleep. The double bed needs new bedding. A flannel sheet and a flocked duvet cover and pillow cases would be better replaced with new cotton bedding. We had read that the beds were hard, so took our own mattress topper, but didn't find them uncomfortable. For anybody sleeping in the smaller bedroom, the boiler pre-heat shouldn't be cutting in every hour or so throughout the night, disturbing the sleep of the guest. It needs to be on a timer. Rest is very important on holiday, so just these small changes could greatly improve the sleep quality of guests. The shower could do with a soap tray or basket for convenience and comfort, especially for those with knee or back problems. A welcome pack of basic provisions would have been nice. It's the first holiday place we've rented which hasn't provided one. Overall, this is a lovely apartment, and one which we would stay in again, without hesitation.

    Great location.

  • "This is a well equipped flat in a wonderful position."

Our comfort would have been much improved if the blinds actually blocked out the sunlight - they were wholly inadequate in both bedrooms. A good night's sleep is possibly the most important part of a successful holiday - Premier Inn know that!

  • "The apartment was lovely although the pictures led us to believe it had its own balcony."

We wanted to stay an extra night but the staff at Sykes forgot to tell us you had agreed to this and so it didn't happen. Real shame.

  • "The apartment was fantastic for us."

Position was perfect overlooking the marina and it had everything you could want. We had only 1 small niggle and that was the main bed mattress is too hard.

  • "Lovely character property with modern interior in a beautiful setting, well equipped and clean."

Perfect base to explore from. The only downside is the stairs up to the property but this was really not an issue for anyone with average mobility.

  • "The flat was spotless and well furnished, unfortunately it lacks soundproofing and we were repeatedly woken at 6am, or disturbed in the evening by children running up and down, banging doors and 'jumping' in the flat above."

Also, as reported in other feedback, the king size bed is very hard, I like a firm bed but this was hard. Disappointingly, there was no welcome pack - I expected at least to have some milk supplied (which, reading the visitors book, was once the case!).

  • "Everything was good, only small issue was lack of radiators turning on throughout, between us we could not work out how to get the heating going, which meant we had cold towels, other than that everything was great."

In an ideal world there would have been a dishwasher but appreciate these apartments are limited in space.

There are some lovely walks, the famous Cob, a sea wall built by W A Maddock who gave his name to this once busy seafaring town, or take a gentle stroll along the coast to the Black Rock Sands beach or the pretty little village of Borth-y-Gest.
