  • "This is a great property with a terrific attention to detail."

Situated in an ideal location, close to Abersoch centre & only a short walk to both the main beach & the Warren beach. The house has most home comforts & is well maintained throughout. We're already looking to revisit in the near future.

First class accommodation. Everything looks new and the house is very tastefully decorated and smells divine as reed room fragrances are dotted about . The patio garden which is enclosed was very handy for the dogs. Walking distance to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended. *****

Clean, comfortable, Well equipped kitchen. Spacious master bedroom downstairs. Beautiful sheltered garden to make sitting outside possible on a windy day and private enough if you wanted to do a spot of sunbathing in your bikini! Great location for walking in to town. We had a great week in Abersoch and would definitely stay here again.

About 12 mins walk to beach and Abersoch Centre. We ate out at most of the local restaurants, would rate Fresh and Crust Pizza the best, would also highly recommend the Little Tea Rooms at the other end of the beach . Great day out doing Tin Man coastal walk by Llanbedrog Beach and also trip to Ty Coch Inn.

A very very comfortable stay. Nice and quiet out of season but so close to all amenities. Great spot for access to dog friendly beach close to golf course with useful shower near toilets useful for cleaning off a sandy dog. Our little cockerpoo was quite at home and holiday home very dog friendly. Lots to love about the area and location. Lovely courtyard garden with total privacy. One of our top holiday trips (stay and location).

  • "Fantastic accommodation , far exceeded expectations."

Lovely corner of the estate with great garden terrace for our dog. Beautifully decorated and spotless. Calm and quiet out of season and a great location slightly out of town but everything walkable. Great trips to Porthmadog, Criccieth, Plas Glyn y Weddw gallery and woodland walk to "tin man" best day spent at Ty Coch Pub accessed via Golf Course and coastal walk down from the lifeboat station- not to be missed, but get there early! Then on to Nant Gwrtheyrn-saw seals and dolphins.

The property

Nestled in the attractive harbour town of Abersoch is this dormer bungalow, 240 Cae Du.

Boasting a contemporary, open-plan design, this inviting retreat is perfect for families of six seeking a seaside escape to North Wales.

After parking up in the off-road parking space, step into your new home-from-home, directly into the open-plan living space, boasting a light and airy feel.

Allow the designated chef to become acquainted in the kitchen, home to all the essentials for preparing culinary delights, plus there’s even a washing machine so you can freshen up your wardrobe.

Serve up dinner at the dining table before retreating to the sofas for an evening of relaxation; warm your toes by the woodburning stove as you get together and choose a film on the Smart TV.

As the evening becomes darker, make yourself at home in one of the bedrooms, with the ground-floor providing a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, whilst upstairs there is a second kind-size and a twin, both neutrally presented.

When you’re ready to explore, pack up your seaside essentials and head to the local beaches, where you can rent boats to sail and surf boards to make the most of the stunning waters.

Before strolling across the harbour and along the shoreline, set out on foot to stock up on the necessities or have a bite to eat at the Fresh Bar & Grill or The Cove Abersoch.

Those keen golfers can tee off at Abersoch Golf Club, whilst those looking to get their steps in can wander around the Llyn Peninsula, providing stunning coastal views.

A charming place to visit is Criccieth, which has a beautiful beach, charming shops, cafes, and a castle that may be explored.

240 Cae Du provides a heart-warming retreat to Gwynedd’s fine coast.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
