  • "Absolutely perfect cottage for two."

The host is amazing and provides lots of little extras that most don’t think of. The hot tub is fantastic and location is great with access to beautiful beaches within walking distance. Our second visit and we fully intend to come back!

  • "Absolutely loved staying here; we were made very welcome and what a beautiful area too."

We thought it was a great little annexe which had everything we needed for a few days away. The only improvement that would have made it perfect is to change the mattress on the bed. It is very soft and bouncy and not very comfortable to sleep on. Thank you for a great time away from all the hustle of normal life though, just what is needed and we hope to come back again in June too.

The cottage is beautifully quirky. Decorated well and very clean. It had everything we needed. The log burner heats the cottage really well and it feels so cosy. The hot tub on a clear night is honestly the most amazing addition. Plenty of walks and views right on the doorstop. Friendly hosts there if you need them. Wouldn't hesitate to return here.

This beautiful, cosy cottage, which is of historical interest as well, had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was a bonus and much appreciated of course. The surrounding coast and landscape is matchless in its beauty. We recommend a boat trip to Ynys Enlli, the beaches at Morfa Nefyn and Porthdinllaen, Glyn Plas y Weddw art gallery, Plas yn Rhiw, and Aberdaron itself which has retained it's Welshness. Really pleased to have the electric car charger available. (Type 2, so don't forget an adapter if your car takes type 1). And a hot tub to watch the sunset in. We had a wonderful week. Excellent, helpful host. We really appreciated the change of towels midweek! A few small things. Can we suggest a blind or curtains over the small window on the stairs? The bright sunrise woke us at 430am! Mattress on the soft side for us, but understand that's just personal preference. And no 2 pin shaver socket. Would be useful if an adapter was provided. We had to go and buy one. Recommended!

  • "Adorable cute cosy cottage in a remote area."

The log burner was a bonus. Plenty of cutlery, tea towels and kitchen utensils to use. Towels were fluffy and even included flannels. The hot tub was a luxury, may be a good idea to bring flip flops for when you get out as it can be a bit stoney underfoot for when you go back into the cottage and may be a good idea to bring a beach towel. Also had extra blankets for those chilly nights, but we didn’t need them. However the bathroom can be quite chilly as there is no heating in the room. A little tip would be to have a linen basket and more cupboard space in the kitchen. But we thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay and explored the areas close to the cottage.

Not Intrusive at all but very knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful . The cottage is stunning with everything you could need provided. Including fresh towels delivered to the door half way through our stay. The Hot tub was amazing. The cottage is perfectly positioned in Rhiw which is only a short 7 min drive into the gorgeous unspoiled seaside village Aberdaron. Which has 2 pubs, a couple of restaurants/ cafes, a chippy, a gift shop, and a fab bakery which was a little overpriced.there is also a spar shop too. We didn’t want to go home after our weeklong stay Whistling sands is a must for walkers and beach lovers I cannot wait to return to the Lyn Peninsula Just one thing take it slow and easy driving on the very scarey roads It’s £5 to park on the national trust car parks at Aberdaron and Porthor (whistling sands) all day

A great place to stay with easy access to great walks on the beautiful north wales coast. The cottage, which has been expertly converted from what was once a dairy, it is very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The cottage was perfectly clean and he welcome pack was excellent. The hot tub is an extra bonus. Carole (with an e btw!) and James were excellent hosts We had car problems on the journey to the cottage and were very late arriving. We kept in contact supportive. We were welcomed by Carole who lives next door James and Carole put me in contact with the local garage who, much to my surprise, were able to diagnose the problem and obtain and fit the necessary part the following day. It was a pleasure to chat to Carole although, as noted before, she was not at all intrusive. The history of the building was very interesting at one point it was a general store, haberdashery and private clinic all run by the same person! The cottage is highly recommended
