  • "This was our second visit to Beach House and it did not disappoint."

This property is a real gem. Comfy beds, beautiful decor, fabulous kitchen and lovely views. It is a wonderful walk along the promenade taking in Colwyn Bay, Rhos on Sea and Penrhyn Bay. Just further afield is Llandudno with its own fantastic promenade and shopping centre and also Conway with its magnificent castle and estuary. All in all a fabulous place to stay. Our thanks to the owner and we will be back!!

Beach House is airy, spacious and with great views. We have enjoyed our time here as everything you need is taken care of. It is a good base to explore the North Wales coast which is quite beautiful. The owners gave done a brilliant job with the interior to make for a very comfortable stay. We hope to return next year.

Thanks for the lovely comments, we look forward to welcoming you back! Property Owner

We enjoyed our stay very much. I would advise Sykes however to get the apartment key code correct, we were lucky a man on the ground floor was able to help us with the correct code.

Thanks for the comment! The keycode changed recently so Sykes sent out the new code by email but it will have been the old code on the original booking email. I'm contacting upcoming guests to make sure they have seen Sykes' email and have the latest code. Property Owner

  • "Great location for travelling around Wales."

Initial issue with bedding which got resolved quickly. The lounge area was spacious with plenty of seating . Nice decor. The beds were very comfortable, however the rooms upstairs were a little tight for moving around and quite low headspace with it being in the roof space. Bathrooms had good quality shower and bath. This property would be good for a family with two small children rather than 4 adults. Having said that we had a lovely stay and I thought the property was good value for money.

  • "The bedroom was tricky to negotiate due to the ceiling angles."

Lack of storage space for clothes was a major issue. The lounge blind over the Juliet door was jammed in the open position. This was a problem watching the tv with the sun streaming in and no privacy at night. Very surprised, first time ever no welcome pack. Would not recommend to older couples due to all the stairs involved. Certainly not returning.

Thank you for your stay. Our advert and photos are very transparent that access is via stairs and that the property is large and spacious but has some angular walls on the top floor. Our feedback shows most people love staying and this is no problem, but we do understand this did not suit you. We have storage and hanging spaces in both bedrooms but we will add more. If you had called we would have been pleased to assist with the blind. It is very new and we are having it professionally checked. Thanks again. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful apartment, with everything we needed for our stay."

Comfortable beds and sofas, well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches provided by the owner. There was some construction work being carried out on the beach (a bit noisy during the night as well!) so we had to walk a little way down the promenade to access the beach, but by the last couple days they had opened it up again. Obviously this is beyond the owner’s control but worth checking before you go if there will be any works carried out in the area. The apartment block itself was quiet and well maintained, and having private parking was a massive bonus for us as street parking nearby looked a bit hectic and stressful! Would come again.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. We'd love to see you again. They improved the sandy beach in front of the apartment by piping sand from a ship to the shore over about 3.5 weeks. That is now finished I believe, or just about. So the night time work will end and we'll be left with an even better beach. Look forward to seeing you again soon! Property Owner

A well presented property , accurate description as per web site ,one thing i would do ,would be to get the boiler checked out ,it tripped out twice on our stay

Thanks for staying and your kind feedback. The boiler is very new and a good brand so we were surprised it tripped for you, but we were glad it could easily be reset immediately. We have now had the manufacturer visit and fix the problem, and it is now functioning normally. Thanks again for your stay and review! Property Owner

  • "The accommodation was of a very high standard and spotlessly clean with excellent facilities - dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, Wifi, huge TV."

The provision of milk in the fridge, Traditional Welsh Cakes + tea and coffee was a lovely welcome. Very close to the promenade and the bay could be seen from the front window. Perhaps the listing could make it clearer that this is a second floor apartment with two flights of stairs and the apartment itself is on two floors. This was no problem for us but might be difficult for some folks as there is no lift. If we ever return to Rhos on Sea we would look to book this apartment again.

The apartment was in excellent condition extremely comfortable, luxurious even. Owners have excellent taste in decor and furniture my wife took a particular shine to a pop art tray placed in the kitchen. The owners were in communication throughout our stay to ensure all was well, we’re extremely helpful and even advised us where they had purchased the aforementioned tray! It is wonderfully located to get out and about around North Wales. The sea views of Colwyn Bay are glorious. This apartment is much more spacious than the pictures show and is fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need. The dedicated parking space is a real bonus. We found a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and some Welsh cakes on arrival and we received a text from the owner wishing us a great stay. We thought that this was a lovely gesture. We would stay again and we highly recommend this apartment.
