  • “The Anchorage is a well equipped house very clean and really comfortable.”

The garden is fenced high enough for privacy and our dog could have freedom outside. 2 minutes to the coastal front with dog friendly eateries. We will definitely book again

The property

Situated just paces away from the beach in the delightful seaside resort of Rhos-On-Sea is this stylish, semi-detached cottage, The Anchorage.

Boasting a spacious garden and plenty of home comforts for your self-catering stay, this property is ideal for a family break to the beautiful Welsh coast.

On arrival at the cottage, off-road parking greets you, inviting you to leave your car and step into your home-from-home for the trip.

Step into the grand hallway, complete with a traditional and grand staircase, adding plenty of character through the space.

The cottage is decorated with a light and neutral décor which continues upstairs and allows plenty of natural light into the space.

Make your way into the sitting room, to find a TV and two plush sofas you can look forward to cosying up on after a busy day; if you enjoy a break from the group you can enjoy some peace and quiet with a cup of tea and a book in the second sitting room just next door.

From here, make your way to the well-equipped kitchen to rustle up a delicious dinner for your family on the electric oven and gas hob, and dine at table in the dining room as you plan your day of adventures.

When it is time to rest, climb the stairs to the first floor to discover three well-appointed and airy bedrooms; the master bedroom hosts a king-size with a TV and a large bay window with lovely views over the garden.

Continuing through the first floor, you will find a sleek bathroom with a gorgeous free-standing bath and a walk-in shower, perfect for freshening up quickly or even indulging with a long soak.

From here, a shower room also serves the bedrooms, so there is plenty of space for your morning shower.

Completing the first floor is a double bedroom and a final family room with a double, making the property a great base for families.

Back on the ground floor, patio doors lead you to the rear garden where you can enjoy your meals alfresco while you relax under the willow tree and your canine companion stretches their legs on the lawn.

Alternatively, you can break away from the group in the morning to enjoy your coffee on the front patio.

For days out while at 14 College Avenue, animal lovers will relish in a day spent at the famous Welsh Mountain Zoo, which rests just a scenic drive from the cottage, or heading in the opposite direction, you can get up-close and personal with the farm animals at the Bodafon Farm Park.

Spend a day in the seaside town of Llandudno and satisfy your sweet tooth at the Llandudno Chocolate Experience before taking the cable cars up the magnificent Great Orme and finishing the day off with a delightful stroll down Llandudno Pier to get some fish and chips and an ice cream.

Another town worth visiting is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Conwy, home to the impressive Conwy Castle and Walls, which have been a site of significance for many years, making Conwy a delightful tourist stop.

Closer to your dwelling, set out on foot to enjoy the nearby beach; with the rocky shores just paces away and the golden sands just a mile from the doorstep, this seaside cottage offers hours of fun from the doorstop.

Avid golfers will be pleased to discover Rhos-On-Sea Golf Club within walking distance, and of you need a break from cooking one evening, there is a good selection of restaurants in the area too including Rhos Fynach, serving traditional pub grub and Hickory's, a popular American-style smokehouse.

The Anchorage is a fantastic base for a family holiday you will remember for years to come.
