"Lovely cottage in beautiful location."
We had a great holiday. Cottage needs a little love, however. There were several minor issues that we could overlook, but not the fact that the washer/drier didn't work. We arrived on the Friday and reported this Saturday morning, but we weren't told until Thursday, the day before we left, that the engineer was coming the following Monday. Felt the owner could have been more helpful. I would also recommend an information book / visitor book.

"The description said a shop was nearby (which was a factor in our decision) but it's closed some years ago."
Very farm housey (sic) decorations. Location was wonderful. Owners friendly and approachable to questions.
Great WIFI which was very handy for planning the next days adventures.
Lots of utensils and nice to load up a dishwasher at the end of the day.
Would recommend.

"Very tired in need of decorating, shower in en-suite needs resealing and descaling, lots of mould on shower hose and plug was loose."
WiFi was non existent, wood for wood burner but nothing to light it with. Lots of cobwebs up corners. Would of been nice for it to be decorated for Christmas. Curtains in bathroom hanging off rail.

"This is a fabulous cottage in a wonderful location with fantastic views of the Conwy Valley."
The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The owners were lovely and on hand should you need anything. We couldn’t have wished for more.
We will certainly be booking it again.

"Great location and pleasant hosts but disappointed by the poor condition of the cottage."
Doors didn't fit frames, and main door had to be lifted bodily to close it (heavy door). One en suite shower is not enough for 6 adults, additional bath is not as useful. Scruffy state of repair, varnish rubbed off doors, holes in wall, needs an overhaul top to bottom, the poorest condition cottage we have stayed in,.

"Ty John is a beautiful cottage in stunning grounds and surrounded by breath-taking views."
Its owners, Pete & Jacquie Marshall gave us an extremely warm welcome and were helpful with facilities, advice & information throughout our stay.
The whole stay with friends and dogs was very easy and comfortable....I think the only comment, is that the garden area around the cottage would benefit from low-level gates to contain the dogs safely.
We would highly recommend Ty John and sincerely hope it isn't too long before we return.

"The property was in a lovely position with nice veiws but the interior of the cottage had an air of tiredness."
Everything was there which was required but all had seen better days.
With a bit of maintainance and updating the cottage could be lovely but work needs doing.

"Really nice and comfortable house in a beautiful location ."
A little difficult to find on the last mile or so . Owners very friendly.
Had a lovely long weekend exploring the beautiful surroundings
The only thing was that the garden isnt enclosed so made it a little awkward with our dog , especially if your dog isn't good with livestock .
