It is beautifully situated a short drive from historic Shrewsbury. The house is very comfortable & very well equipped & furnished to a high standard. The underfloor heating gives a constant coziness throughout. The grounds are large, secure & beautifully maintained even in winter. The host Colin is a charming man & he kindly attended during our stay to give a tip on using the new dishwasher. I would definitely stay there again & cannot recommend it enough, it deserves its 5star rating. Excellent touches by the owners to make the stay memorable. The kitchen was great with full size fridge/freezer and very comfortable to sit and enjoy evening meals with fantastic views of the gardens. Beautiful lodge with large wrap around garden which both grandchildren and dog loved. Every possible thing you could need was provided, even treats for the dog. Loved the smart TV in the evenings as opposed to the standard tv packages normally provided. Would return in a heartbeat. The property was very clean and ready for us upon arrival and a welcome pack for us to enjoy started the holiday off on a nice note. Information available at the cottage is very clear and makes it easy to make full use of the cottage's facilities. There are books on the area to select walks which we appreciated and used on several days. We were pleased to see in the information pack that Covid additions had been made to the cleaning schedule which gave us confidence this has been done for our stay.
