The owner was very helpful and approachable. Parking seemed to be a slight issue in one review I read but was not at all a problem for us. We parked two cars safely off the road in front of the lodge. The Lodge was warm and welcoming and we had a very relaxing break.

  • "Owners were very friendly & helpful."

The setting is lovely & made such a refreshing change for 'Townies'. Easy to visit places lime Chester & the recreated roman villa at Wroxeter. A very short drive into Wales for Lake Vyrnwy & Bala. For us this was ideal. Good facilities including wi-fi. Parking was the only downside but didn't really cause any issues as there is a large 'splay' onto the main house driveway so tucked the car there at night off the road,
