Care, cleanliness and attention to detail and friendliness of owners was really good. Oven was a little difficult to light and set temperature due to control knob indicators being difficult to read but once mastered was fine. We will be back, thank you.

.. and some. The ever changing view, which is what sold it to me, didn't disappoint. The welcome tray and all the extras were unexpected but great. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners were even on hand with a friendly smile when I managed to set off the smoke detector.

We were not disappointed and now love that one as well as its only one flight of stairs to reach. The view was just as good as the top and very comfortable and clean, the shower was very good. This will not be the last time to come here and we are looking to stay next year for longer. A lovely welcome pack greeted us on arrival Thankyou very much.

The view from the windows looking on the seaside is breathtaking no matter the season. Special note for the little fireplace heater : i loved it. The location is also a fantastic asset : very close from the beautiful medieval city of Conwy (10 minutes by car), not far off the britannia bridge to bring you to Anglesey and maybe half an hour by car from the astonishing city of caernarfon. North Wales at its best ;)

Our only quibble would be that the bedroom would benefit from double glazing, especially in colder months. There was a slight draft and noticeable traffic noise at times - but on the whole we loved the property and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, missing it already.

Thank you for your comments. We are pleased to confirm, all windows in the apartment are now double glazed. Property Owner

  • "We have had a wonderful week."

The property was as advertised. It was very comfortable and clean. The sea views were beautiful. Especially the sunsets. Instructions were clear for arriving and departure i.e. key collection. The only thing to mention is that the walk up from the car was a little steep so some may find some difficulties depending on mobility. Facilities provided were more than adequate and the extra little additions were more than welcome. The Promenade and sandy beach which is less than a 10 minute walk down(again may be a little steep ) is delightful with cafe& toilets. Well maintained. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return as plenty more to see.

It was clean, very comfortable, and gave us exactly what we needed to enjoy our stay. And the view genuinely is fantastic from the windows upstairs, it gives a real snapshot of the multifaceted place that is Penmaenmawr. Great base if you have a car, but also really good if you just want to use public transport, as the station is a 5-10 minute walk and there's a bus every 20 minutes from almost outside the door, going on a route between Llandudno and Conwy one way and Bangor/Caernarfon the other (the bus will say Bangor, but it goes onto Caernarfon from there).

Would suggest the replacement of oven/ grill knob as unmarked, also include info on how to light grill/ oven. Really enjoyed the flat and Penmaenmawr is so central for outings in all directions, lots of enjoyable visits to Anglesey ( Copper Mine), Llandudno, Betws -y-coed, Portmeirion. We had difficulties booking evening meals, 3 establishments in village were closed or closed down, many places contacted were fully booked. Not sure if this was COVID related ie lack of staff or rules. We had lovely meals at Fairy Glen, Groes inn and takeaway from the Indian in Conwy but would suggest people plan ahead and book.

The flat had everything we needed for our holiday, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the welcome tray left by the owners when we arrived was appreciated and a very nice touch. The highlight of this flat is the view from the large window in the lounge......just amazing. Uninterrupted views across to Anglesey and just sea as far as you can see. It was so relaxing after a hard days walking to just crash on the comfy chairs in the lounge and just watch the sunset and sea out of the window. The bed is large and comfy, and the heating easily controllable to ensure you are as toasty or cool as required. We will definitely return to this flat on another excursion to North Wales.....whilst we were there we did try and book another week at the end of August, but they are fully booked all the way through, that’s how taken we were. Thank you for a lovely week in your flat !!
