  • "Avalon is an extremely comfortable, very well equipped bungalow in a lovely quiet location, the garden was safe and secure for our two Cocker spaniels, there is a Tesco close by which made shopping easy, pretty much everything we needed was provided by the owners, they really have given great consideration to a holidaymakers every need, including some lovely flowers in the living room."

The locals are all friendly, the view of Gwrych Castle from the kitchen window is stunning and there are excellent dog walks just across the road, we really couldn't have asked for anything better. We visited Llandudno which remains a wonderful Victorian seaside resort along with the train which goes to the top of the Great Orme, Conwy with it's amazing Castle where you can walk the castle walls and the N.T. Bodnant Gardens, luckily at this time of the year we were able to take our dogs around the gardens too, all of this was only a short drive away, the whole area is quite spectacular and very welcoming. Booking the holiday was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday so much that we have booked another week in June next year. Thank you John and Yvonne for your attention to detail, the bungalow was spotlessly clean when we arrived and you really do try to ensure your visitors enjoy their holiday.

  • "Lovely bungalow, very clean and well cared for, excellent condition."

It exceeded what was expected as it now has wi-fi available which did not show in the literature on the property. It was not there 3 years ago when we had another enjoyable holiday there, but had been added since. Had I have known I could have taken my laptop. Still, it was a lovely holiday and would thoroughly recommend.

  • "Avalon is a lovely bungalow and fully met our expectations."

On arrival it was spotless and smelt lovely. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well, although this could also have something to do with the long walks we had !!! Everything we could possibly have needed was provided including salt, pepper. sauce, tea, coffee, sugar, bin bags, cleaning materials, iron and board, hairdryer and so much more. The garden is very secure for our dog and the surrounding area quiet. Plenty of dog walking areas where we could let him "off lead" and have a run. We enjoyed a walk up to Grych Castle for the 200 years celebration, nice walks around the town which has some lovely shops and pubs. We ate at the Harp a few times, this is very dog friendly and Peanut became a favourite with the locals. The George and Dragon only allows dogs in the outside seating area. The Trawlers chippy has excellent fish and chips but be warned the portions are massive !! Fully enjoyed our stay and will recommend to anyone wanting a break in North Wales.
