"Property was comfortable and clean in general and local area was good."
However it needs larger radiators upstairs in order to make effective use of the air source heat pump. The house in general was too hot downstairs and too cold upstairs - it potentially needs new heating controls as they seemed broken and out of sync with each other. Perhaps one downstairs and one upstairs would be sufficient. A power point for the car parking spaces for EV charging would be good too.

"Stayed here with my family of 8 over Christmas and we had a really pleasant stay."
The property was as photographed and there was plenty of parking space for the 2 cars we took. This was particularly appreciated looking at the lack of on street parking available otherwise, very well though out by the owners/host! One of the reviews we read said the property had been cold for them but this was not the case for us, lovely and toasty for our entire stay. The property was clean and tidy, and all the basics we needed for the first few days of our stay (toilet roll, dishwasher tablets, etc) provided. We hadn't asked about Christmas decorations but there was a tree which was really nice and made us feel even more at home. My family thought I'd made the arrangements for the tree, thank you! We also appreciated the wine and mince pies that had been left for our arrival. The bedrooms were all a good size although one of the beds was a little squeaky if you rolled too much (the bedroom opposite the master). The welcome book was great, the maps were particularly helpful as many of the local attractions were closed over the holiday period so we relied on the maps provided for majority of the daily family walks we did. All in all a great stay and we would come back.

Plenty of space for 10, very clean and ready forms on arrival, only negative was the heating seemed to struggle to keep the whole house warm, it was far from cold but glad we had slippers with us. Great location and top pub just down the road

"This house is set in the beautiful location of trefriw."
It is an easy distance to everything, zipworld, snowdon, Anglesea and more. Because of this and this alone we had the most amazing holiday in Wales! The house is spacious, the rooms were an ideal set up for us with children. The washing machine facilities were good and the table was a perfect size. Aside from this the house needs some serious investment. The garden not being of any use (and not explained on the listing) was a complete let down. The house is clean in some places and filthy in others (the dead flies on filthy window sills were vile ) - the rugs and blankets are clearly well used, the dust and cobwebs under sofas (yes my children's cars needed fishing out somehow ) and the grime running down the windows pvc in the living area were awful. On the surface however in most places it was clean. The furnishings don't match, clearly old furniture painted white, the bed in one double room is broken at the screw at the bottom end, the handles come off the dressing table. The toilets leave some strange smell? Maybe thats the Welsh system ? In the kitchen the oven isn't fit for a 10 person house. You can fit 2 pizzas in one oven at anyone time. The one normal knife was broken, the bench outside the front was broken so it wobbles. Top tip ; There needs to be a gate at the top of the stairs outside for children. The steps are dangerous! Oh and lastly can someone change the thickness of the quilts its summer with no fans. We didnt sleep because we were so hot! I must say however the next door neighbours are absolutely amazing they gave us some real gems to go to. They lent us some items we didn't have and needed and were so lovely to chat too! Definatly if you stay -talk to them!

The house is recently refitted so everything feels new. The place is decorated tastefully and has wonderful views out if the front. Would love to be back next year as we are a group of civil servants who come to Snowdonia each year to participate in a hiking challenge.

Having different rooms with double & single beds made it easier to accommodate the whole party. The house was really accommodating for such a large group lots of spaces to sit, big dining room table. Small snug to use. Kitchen had all the basic essentials you would need during your stay. Three bathrooms with both toilets and showers were very helpful although as we were such a large group, we felt that there could have been more toilet roll available. We found that the house could do with a little bit of TLC the beds were very squeaky whenever you moved around. We noticed that there was dust and cobwebs gathered behind the headboards. In the main living area, one of the windowsills was very dusty. Would recommend possibly having another set of keys to hand for the main door as someone always had to remain awake until the whole party returned. The house definitely suited our needs, despite the few things we mentioned above.

"This was a fairly last minute booking for us and we were all delighted with the location of the Glasfryn as our friends wished to visit the beautiful area of Snowdonia."
The house was absolutely brilliant in every way - plenty of room to eat, sleep and relax. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed (apart from a potato masher!) I would certainly recommend this lovely house for a family holiday in this picturesque region of Wales.

"Lovely newly renovated 5 bed house in a beautiful location."
Bedrooms are big enough and beds comfortable enough for five 60+ old Men. There are 3 showers , 4 toilets and Wi-Fi good. Village has three pubs although Ship was my favourite. Excellent place and if we ever went the same place twice (which we don't) would definitely return.

"Perfectly spacious accommodation, extremely clean throughout."
There were 7 of us and we all felt very much at home in Gwynfryn. The kitchen was very well equipped and again immaculate. Lovely terrace area to sit in the morning sunshine whilst admiring the view. It is clear to see this property has recently been renovated.

The pretty village of Trefriw is situated in the beautiful Conwy Valley and is within the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Trefriw is ideally placed for all manner of activities and attractions with the splendour of both the National Park and the North Wales Coast on the doorstep. For its size the village offers a good selection of shops, pubs etc. There is also a working woollen mill and craft shop. The Trefriw Wells Spa - discovered by the Romans and still in use today - is worth a visit. Fishing is available on the River Conwy and also in wonderful lakes in the hills above Trefriw, notably Llyn Crafnant. The whole area is a walker’s paradise and there are numerous beautiful routes around and above the village. Other local attractions include Gwydyr Castle which is a fine example of a Tudor courtyard house, and the extensive Gwydyr Forest Park. Llanrwst is a fine old market town with a good range of local shops reached across the River Conwy from Trefriw by a famous bridge. Betws-y-Coed, North Wales' most popular inland resort, is also only a short drive away.
