    “Week away”

Just returned from 7 nights at Glan y Gors cottage, 2 adults and 2 children plus dog. Cottage is set in a beautiful location, around 2 miles (i think) from nearest village Llangernyw and around 15 minutes drive from the A55. We stayed in the upstairs accomodation which was clean, in great working order and a great base to access most areas of northern Wales, close to Conwy/Llandudno etc. There is a large field for dog walking and loads of local lanes etc for walking although we didnt use these ...

There is a large field for dog walking and loads of local lanes etc for walking although we didnt use these much as our dog is only 12 weeks old! The cottage is part of a working farm and we must say that the owner Geoff (apologies if its spelt Jeff!) really makes you feel welcome with loads of local advice, friendly chat, delicious duck eggs and offers for the children to see the animals! It was our daughter's birthday while we were staying and we returned from a day out to a present from Geoff and family for our daughter, a little touch that made her day even more special, so thank you very much Geoff and family- we will be back!
