  • "We enjoyed every minute of our 2 weeks in Hen Dy Bryn Mawndy."

All the rooms were very tidy and clean on arrival. The view from our upstairs bedroom was absolutely stunning and in the morning we have savoured the first sip of coffee in bed looking into the fields and hills, saying hello to the horse and sheep. Though the weather was'nt too good in the second week with temperatures between 7 and 13 degrees and a lot of rain, we made the best of it and discovered the whole area including Snowdonia and Llandudno. The heating in the house is very good and easy to handle, so it was very cosy. The only minor remark I can make is that there are only 6 mugs in a house for 6 persons (which means washing up a lot). When our holidays finally came to an end, we didn't want to leave and now being back in Germany the thing we miss most is the view from the window in the morning. It was our first stay in (North) Wales and it is so beautiful (sometimes I thought I was in the Shire from the Lord of the Rings) that we will definitely come again.

Will deffinatly be booking again as throughly enjoyed it, wish we had booked longer tbh. Would reccomend aldi in llangollen, has home bargins aswell which added plus. And the chippy in blaenau is amazing well worth the drive. We went to zipmas in at zipworld near blaenau and they were all friendly and very accomidating to our autistic 3 yr old :) Not going to lie its a drive to locations but you get to take in the stunning welsh landscape en route. You can easily just relax at hen dy mawndy instead as its so comfortable, has underfloor heating easy to use heating controls and the owners are always at the end of the phone and very friendly. Even had the heating on for us when we arrived which was a nice touch. Would 100% reccomend this place :) Worth the travel from west sussex From Melissa and Geraint

Cottage was lovely and clean and beds comfortable. Felt the lounge area would have benefited from some curtains to make it less stark and absorb some of the sound, but that was our only critisism.

  • "Wonderful property."

Highly recommend. Lovely location that's easy to get to and has ample off road parking. Views from every room are incredible as it's set in the middle of a working farm - really going to miss waking up there. The property was spotlessly clean and fresh. Really impressed with the tasteful decor and all facilities - the showers had great water pressure, the beds and sofas were comfortable and the smart TV's in each room worked great. The kitchen was well stocked and the spacious open plan diner was perfect for entertaining and family games. To add to all this, the owners were really friendly and their welcome pack/ directions were super helpful. Cannot wait to book to go back, such a gem of a property!
