  • "I remember the Castle from the days it was a hotel so was interested in staying now it has been converted."

I found the common areas to be clean and well lighted, the unit itself was well laid out and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped. 2-3 minutes from unit to train station or bus stop. Cross the railway line and it is a nice walk along the promenade. Views are absolutely spectacular - sunsets are wonderful. Very good restaurants nearby - Nikki Ips is still excellent. Shame the village shop and Post Office have closed, but take any bus or train and you can find anything you need in Llandudno or the Junction.

Thanks for your feedback Steve. I’m glad the conversion from the hotel to apartments didn’t disappoint and you enjoyed your stay. I very much enjoyed hosting you and hope you are now safely back in Florida enjoying the lovely sunshine. Or if still on your travels, enjoy further. Thanks again, Heather Property Owner

Apartment immaculate, very comfortable and little touches make it feel like a home from home! A super location for travel in North Wales. This is our second visit and we hope to return soon. Thank you so much Heather!

Thanks for being perfect guests again Olwen and Steve. It was, as usual, a pleasure to host you and great to meet you in person this time. Thank you for leaving the apartment in a pristine condition. Very much appreciated. Hope to see you both again next year. Thanks again, Heather Property Owner

Heather owner more generous than most with freebies - diolch yn fawr! Beautiful costal walks to Llandudno and Conwy and further away e.g Blaenau Ffestiniog, Conwy Nature Reserve and Bodnant Gardens. Very comfortable apartment but would agree with wife that there is too much white and grey - needs more colour. And you wouldn’t swing a cat let alone a kitten in the shower! Most guests leave positive comments and the two before us have been back there three times this year! In an uncertain world one should count our blessings and many thanks for all services provided in beautiful Deganwy

  • "A lovey modern and cosy apartment situated in a great location."

All amenities needed to enjoy a short or long stay we’re provided. The bed was really comfy and the bedding gave us a luxury hotel feel. The designated parking spot gave us peace of mind as parking within the area can be difficult during school holidays etc. On arrival we had a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine which I must say was a lovely touch. Heather has great communication with guests and we found all aspects of the apartment were well communicated. Would return and recommend!

Very spacious fully equipped super spotless clean apartment. The living room/kitchen diner was immaculate and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The sofa and bed was extremely comfortable. Rear costal area is just at the back of apartment where we enjoyed our evenings watching coastal view and sunset. There’s lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance which was handy. Heather is very helpful and informative from the beginning. We enjoyed the complimentary milk, wine, chocolates. There’s allocated car parking . Train stationis is only 2mts walking distance .We would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. Once again thanking Heather for your care and hospitality which we are highly impressed.

The owner (Heather) was fantastic and could not have been any nicer or done any more for us during our stay, we will definitely be recommending this apartment to our friends.

Walks to Conwy and the Great Orme on our doorstep. Public transport links also two minutes walk away and we took the opportunity to visit Chester by train. We can highly recommend Bodnant Garden south of Conwy. Heather had suggested Enochs Fish and Chips at Llandudno Junction....do not miss! We found the apartment easy to look after and plenty of space for groceries which is often lacking in other places we have stayed in. Plenty of kitchen equipment and crockery. We really appreciated Heather's very generous welcome gifts and her kindness.

I was impressed with the kitchen amenities - as I like to cook whilst away. It is very close the the sea and we had numerous beautiful walks. We were able to leave our car parked - so we walked and used the local buses - which allowed us to have a real rest. We only found a couple of downsides the bathroom was very small but adequate and we thought prior to going into the accommodation it was a seaside view - however the view from the garden is very beautiful and there are seats available. We would go to this apartment again.

En suite a little tight especially if you're a taller or slightly larger person - a bit tricky trying to have a wash in the basin and unfortunately towels began to smell after a couple of days. The shower was small but adequate for our needs and the so many other pluses outweigh that. Parking on site was essential for us and this apartment gives you that. It has a barrier for safety an added bonus. The owner texted to see if we had any concerns which we didn't but that was a nice touch along with welcome milk, cakes, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine. Small and quiet beach next to apartment and we were blessed with some sunny weather. The owner, Heather, left a lovely welcome pack and comprehensive information file. She texted to check all was ok, especially in the hot weather and offered a fan to be dropped off. Deganwy is a pretty and peaceful base to explore North Wales. We found the apartment very stuffy even with the windows open. At night we had to shut the windows due to the seagulls making so much noise. I know this isnt the owners fault however if we hadnt been able to buy a fan we would have had to leave early. Also the blinds in the apartment didnt block the light at night coming in from the courtyard outside so much so you could almost read by it. Apart from those hiccups we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well decorated and very clean. The owner left a lovely greatings gift and card much appreciated ☺ Deganwy itself is a pretty costal village but not many amenities. There is a Coop about quarter mile away from the apartment and a few cafes/ restaurants closer by. Bigger supermarkets are available via car. Sandy beaches are close by and relatively clean even though dogs are allowed on the beaches.

About the location

DEGANWY

Conwy 2 miles; Llandudno 3.5 miles.

The town of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a marina, a small selection of shops, a pub and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Deganwy is only a few miles from the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno; Conwy boasts a medieval castle, town walls and a marina, plus winding streets which offer something for shoppers and diners alike. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade. The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope! Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy, this area has so much to offer the entire family.
