  • "The cottage is high up with fab views and a walkers paradise."

The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable, light and airy, has a very nice garden to relax in and watch/hear the sheep who live in the hills. The owner was very pleasant and informative when we made contact regarding the key to the property. A sense of adventure to get there but definitely worth the effort

  • "An absolutely beautiful little terraced cottage."

I was a bit nervous when I saw some photos online of the approach because it looked quite messy but this is not the cottage! Do not be fooled. It’s a neighbour. The cottage is gorgeous with spectacular views. It is absolutely sparkling and so well thought out. It’s got everything you could possibly need and we honestly did not want to leave!! Lots of gorgeous places to explore , all within a 30 min drive! Highly recommended

  • "The directions to the cottage were unfathomable we had to ring the owner ."

The drive to the cottage is very steep and bumpy with a.loose surface, you need a 4 x4 to climb back to the road. We mentioned this to Claire the owner she said she was aware and it will be done in October. The area is stunning and lovely and peaceful.with plenty of places to visit. The local pubs were excellent with various cuisine.

  • "It was a quiet location."

The track down to the cottage was a little rough on an old car! But we cannot fault the comfort, cleanliness and amenities of the cottage. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Many thanks.

  • "We have just returned from a fabulous week at Spring Cottage."

The location and views from the cottage are superb, helped by stunning sunshine most of the week and a fabulous sun-trap patio to make the most of the views. The owner, Claire, was very accommodating with answers to our questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. The welcome pack left for us was fab! The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and cosy and the area is so peaceful (the noisiest things around were the cockerels and sheep!). Just a couple of points to note - the shower over bath and the step up to the bath could be a problem for those less mobile and the driveway down to the cottage/parking is steep and bumpy. Overall, we had a wonderful week at Spring Cottage and would happily return and recommend to others.
