The property

The impressive, mid-terrace cottage, 3 Boat Yard is located in the idyllic and peaceful setting of the picturesque village of Abersoch.

Within a short walking distance of lovely beaches, this cottage is well-equipped for a group of friends or family of eight’s seaside break, boasting a balcony and parking spaces for up to three cars, for your convenience.

Enter the property to find yourself in a tastefully decorated sitting room, with stylish, beige furnishings and ample devices to enhance your holiday, from a Smart TV with Sky packages to a BOSE speaker.

Progress through the double doors to the fantastic kitchen/diner, where the budding chef of the group will be pleased to find a selection of appliances within the sleek, wooden fittings.

When dinner has been rustled up, enjoy it with your loved ones around the dining table, as the kitchen’s TV plays in the background.

Just off the kitchen you will find a utility that is home to a washing machine, so there is no need to travel far for your laundry facilities.

Finish off the day by unwinding in the nearby shower room’s spacious walk-in cubicle, or venture upstairs to discover a delightful family bathroom that provides you with the choice between soaking in a bath or a separate walk-in shower.

Continue along the first floor to find three bedrooms, one being a double room served by a Smart TV with Freeview, along with benefiting from its own balcony, where you can sit out and relish that sea breeze; further along the corridor you will find a snug twin room and a bunk room that both are accompanied by Smart TVs with Freeview.

Those seeking a little more privacy should climb the stairs again to the second floor to discover the master bedroom, featuring a king-size bed and Velux windows streaming in natural light; the room also comes with a TV and an en-suite shower room.

Head back downstairs and outside to the private, enclosed decking where plush, outdoor seating awaits, as well as a top-of-the-line barbecue where you can fix up a delicious alfresco meal for all the family.

Make your way into Abersoch to find a range of shops and eateries to stop in, along with the idyllic Abersoch Harbour Beach and Marina where you can rent a surfboard and paddle through the waters, before savouring a spot of sea view dining at The Cove.

Take advantage of your stunning location and embark on one of many local trails, including the Abersoch Penbennar walking route, explore the three lovely beaches south of the village, or travel a little further to the historic Plas yn Rhiw house.

Walk the Wales Coast Path to Llanbedrog and venture through the village’s vast viewpoint, and view the renowned Tin Man statue, before continuing to the lovely centre of Llanbedrog, where a selection of attractions await.

Travel further afield for an outing in the market town of Pwllheli, or spend some time exploring more of the picture-postcard settlements dotted around Gwynedd’s coastline, from Aberdaron to Nefyn.

For an excellent stay in Abersoch, choose 3 Boat Yard.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
