"It was great to find hand towels provided in both bathrooms as well as a bath towel and hand towel for each person."
Plenty of teatowels and an oven glove both of which is unusual but good. There were issues from previous guests but owner personally contacted us and the cleaner had done a great job. A couple of further issues were quickly sorted on the phone. When you first arrive the setting of the house is a bit disappointing but the house itself we all thought was good basic holiday accomodation. Our 7 Yr old granddaughters loved the activities in the garage. We did not find the other garages a problem at all. There was no real disturbance and the people we saw were friendly. The rubbish/recycling system is a bit of a nightmare but we managed it. Maybe for a house that can accommodate 9 plus a baby the council could provide a larger black bin or an extra one? Staffordshire do this for large household or ones where there are nappies or incontinence pads. Over all we had a good week here. The Marmalade kitchen provided a good breakfast after 9am check out. A little pricey but very clean and welcoming and good food
"Th cottage is a basic utilitarian accommodation that will give tennants a reasonable level of comfort without the luxury."
We were quite comfortable there and didn’t really lack for anything. The only problem that we experienced was a blocked shower tray in the downstairs shower. Which despite a phone call to the owner was not fixed whist we were there. The cottage is handily placed to visit the beach and town. The only suggestion I would make is that acknowledging that the house is fronted by a drive that services a number of rented garages, it would still be possible to provide a sitting out area by slabbing over the small concrete apron at the side and maybe enclosing it with a trellis.
"FIRST OF ALL,WE LIKE RHOS-ON-SEA, AND THE WEATHER WAS GREAT."
THE HOUSE WAS GOOD UNTILL YOU SAT ON THE SOFAS. THEY ARE TOO LOW AND UNCOMFORTABLE. THE BEDS ARE NOT MUCH BETTER, AS THE MATTRESSES ARE OLD AND WORN, NEED TO BE CHANGED, AND THE DOUBLE BED AT THE END OF THE HOUSE WAS DREADFUL AS PART OF THE SIDE OF THE BED WAS MISSING. I THINK THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE SHOULD DO A CHECK ON THE PLACE. WHAT I DIDNT LIKE AT ALL WAS ALL THE GARAGES BY THE HOUSE AS THE PEOPLE, WHO USED THEM WERE IN AND OUT ALL THE TIME, ONE EVEN CAME IN AFTER 11PM WAKING THE YOUNG CHILDREN UP WITH CAR DOORS SHUTTING. IDO THINK YOU SHOULD FORE WARN CLIENTS THAT THERE ARE GARAGES BY THE HOUSE.ALSO WE COULD NOT USE THE GARAGE, TO PLAY IN AS IT WAS FILTHY, AND THE BARBECUE YOU COULD NOT TOUCH IT AT ALL AS IT WAS DISGUSTING.ALSO YOU COULD NOT SIT OUTSIDE, AS THERE IS NO GARDEN, AND TOO MANY CARS COMING IN AND OUT.I DONT NORMALLY MAKE COMMENTS, BUT I THINK THIS NEEDED TO BE SAID. I HOPE I WILL BE ABLE TO USE YOUR COMPANY AGAIN, IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
We are sorry that you we are disappointed with the furnishings at our house. We have never had any similar comments from previous guests and have been renting this house out for seven years now. The mattresses are less than a year old. We have slept on them as a family on a regular basis and found them very comfortable. Nor can we understand your comment that part of the side of the bed was missing. Before every new visit, our cleaner does a running check of any damage and appropriate repairs are made and I am sorry if this did not happen on this occasion. We will recheck and repair and replace if some damage has been caused. I am sorry that you found the settee uncomfortable and low. One of the settees is quite low, which is why we purchased an additional higher sofa and accompanying chair which is specifically designed for those who struggle with low seating. It is true that private garages surround the courtyard. It is rare that there are more than three or four or five minute visits from the garage owners in any day. The garage owners are discreet and considerate and have never been a problem to previous visitors. The house has the benefit of a very large garage, which has been converted into a table tennis and table football room. It has independent heating and lighting and I personally cleaned it out and swept it shortly before your visit. Furthermore, I personally cleaned the barbecue. I am sorry if it was not clean when you visited. Property Owner
"The house is in a very convenient location for the promenade."
Social distancing very easy in Rhos which is a very pretty village and sea front. Easy walk to Colwyn Bay to sandy beaches. Very quiet. Every kitchen utensil you could want, large aga cooker and plenty of pots and cutlery. Very comfortable stay. Parking outside the property very useful.

Great location and plenty of room.
"Really lovely stay."
The cottage had everything we needed and we even had a nice bottle of Prosecco and chocolates to greet us on arrival. Very convenient location near the beach and a short walk to a small shop. Quiet and spacious. Thank you for a fab stay.

"The house is wonderful - spotlessly clean and really warm and cosy."
Our visit fell over Christmas and it was lovely to find a decorated tree and other decorations. We’ll definitely be coming back!
"We had a brilliant time - there's enough space that with 8 family members (3 couples and 2 children) we weren't on top of each other, but plenty of space to spend time together too."
Wonderful cottage - comfy and high quality, and great contact with the hosts who were extremely kind. We'd love to come back!
"Great holiday, perfect location and nice house."
"Really good Cottage clean and well situated"
"The accommodation met our requirements and was close to the sea front and within walking distance of the village centre."
The kitchen was amply equipped with all essentials for home cooking. Great holiday and all top attractions easily reached.
"Great hosts, great place, good cooperation"
"Couple of issues with TV aerial and plumbing that sorted promptly by owner - thank you."
Poor housekeeping generally - dusty upstairs - windows dirty inside - oven not clean inside - extractor fan requires cleaning as when on grease drips from hood. Pans require renewing as bottoms scrapped out of them and only 2 for 9 people - Bottom right oven not working - external food waste bin requires lid to prevent seagulls emptying No DVD player as advertised but DVDs provided !! - VHS recorder/tv in a main bed room - had to explain to grandchildren what it was !! Property requires additional shower for number of people it can take. We have however enjoyed the week due to weather and family time, but are unlikely to return as it would appear that the property is not maintained to a constant good standard.
