  • "This was a fantastic holiday house plenty of room and very comfortable, great for large groups/families."

Only minor tweaks would make it even better. The towels were old and very small, no dressing tables in any of the bedrooms for hair and make-up. The garden was brilliant and extremely large but grass needed cutting. Given that we would definitely stay again.

  • "Loved our stay at Aislaby Hall, a clean, well presented house and with large garden."

Only thing that let us down was the weather but that was out of everyone's control. Would definitely go back!

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback! We are so excited to have you back Property Owner

  • "Beautiful property."

I found the furniture although nice, to be very uncomfortable. Everything needed was provided, was very well equipped. Would have liked a bit more coal as the house cold in the evening. All in all an enjoyable stay.

  • "Ideally situated for visiting both the coast and the North York moors."

We stayed as a family party of 10 + 2 dogs and had a very enjoyable time for the week away - even the weather was kind to us. Property itself is very spacious with a very modern kitchen with all the facilities you would require. Also has a good games room and children’s play area to keep the youngsters amused. Views from the living room and kitchen are excellent. The original house is quite old and if we were being pedantic we felt that there were a few little things that perhaps required a bit of tlc but these did not detract from our stay . Situated in the centre of the village and opposite a very friendly pub we had an excellent family gathering and would not hesitate to return . To be recommended if you’re looking for a large house for a special event

  • "A lovely, roomy and airy house in a pretty village with wonderful views across the valley towards the moors."

A great sun room/conservatory and extensive garden. There was more than ample parking for our 3 cars. The kitchen was modern and well equipped and the Welcome Pack was much appreciated. The en-suite bathrooms were smart and the bedrooms large and the beds very comfortable. The house really is just a few minutes drive to Whitby.

Thank you for your lovely comments we hope to see you stay again with us Property Owner

  • "Aislaby Hall is set in a stunning location."

Our family of 6 adults, 2 babies and a 5 year old had the most amazing time. The items left by the home owners were a very welcomed gift, especially has we arrived late. It’s in the perfect location for getting out and about around the local area. The Forge pub, 2 minutes walk from the hall, is excellent for food, we ate there twice and both times it was faultless. I would definitely recommend Aislaby Hall to friends and family.

Only one minor detail, the bins are way too small for such a big property.

Hello Thank you for your feedback! We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, we can't wait to have you back with us. We are trying to sort the bins and are aware there isn't really enough for such a large property. Property Owner

  • "Really enjoyed our stay with our large family."

The property was very comfortable indeed and very well equipped for a large group. The only slight criticism is there is no heating in the conservatory/games room. We had chosen the property partly based on the availability of the pool/snooker table but were unable to use it in the evening as it was so cold in there. I am sure it would be fabulous in the late spring and summer months. Maybe this should be mentioned in the description of the facilities during winter months?

We are really glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the feedback. We will pop a heater in for future guests, during the colder months. Property Owner

  • "For a property of this size more wheelie bins are required for both general waste and recycling."

Also, only providing a single tea towel is insufficient. Having programmed the Hive heating to meet our needs, I suspect that this was subsequently altered by someone… Overall a great property for large family groups.

  • "Hall was in a great small village position , 500 yds to the pub."

Really nice place , home from home You could be faddy and say it needed new Windows and doors , but I'm not loved it .

  • "Had a lovely stay."

Hope to return again next year. Very big garden which was safe for grandchildren. The property was in a quiet village. Local pub must be good as always booked up so didn't get to try their food. Short drive to park and ride which was reasonably priced. Close to Whitby Town.

  • "The house was excellent great facilities loved the pool table and dartboard, garden was beautiful with the horses at the end of the garden."

We thought it was nearer to whitby but it wasn't a problem as we had someone who drove us in

  • "Lovely location for all the family including the dog."

The view from this house is spectacular, when we get home its going to feel clostraphobic looking at the hedge at the bottom of the garden. Its a nice village location with a nice local pub, good walks, cycling and you can be in Whitby or Robinhoods bay within 15minutes. The building also has some really nice period features.

  • "Great holiday for a large family get together in a lovely house in a beautiful location."

Beautiful location and the house is lovely. Perfect for a large family get together. Great to have the pool/games room and the smart TV in the lounge. South facing so lovely and sunny with beautiful views over the countryside towards Whitby. Very nice hosts.
