  • "Lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful rural setting."

The cottage had plenty of space and was very clean. The toys, games and football table were an added bonus and were very much enjoyed by the younger members of the group. Thank you.

  • "A group of 9 including adults, teenagers and young children stayed on our visit."

The cottage is spacious, well decorated with all necessary equipment, toys, games and football table. The bedrooms are lovely, with wardrobes in the 2 main bedrooms, beds were really comfy. The large garden was great for games and for the boys to let off steam. Its ideally situated with access to the coast, York and the moors. The owners are really friendly and helpful and available onsite should you need any assistance. We were highly delighted with the cottage and would recommend it to anyone needing a large holiday home.

There was nothing we could fault and it's in a great area with some stunning scenery and an excellent local pub (The Bay Horse). We will definitely re-book should we come back to the area. Steve

The cottage is very spacious and has a fantastic feel to it. We loved every minute there. Table Football, board games and puzzles really made our evenings as did the walks in the surrounding areas. A great base to explore the moors, seaside and York itself. Hilary and Alan also generously gave tickets for the Countryfile show...such generous people, completely blessed us.
