Great base for exploring the area, the owners who lived next door, were very helpful with their knowledge of the area. Great area at the rear of the property for exercising a our dog.

  • "The cottage was well appointed."

However, there was no dog friendly garden area attached to the cottage, as specified. A terrace was available within the owners front garden, therefore no privacy and not safe and secure for our dog.

We are pleased you found the cottage was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The property description and photos have been reviewed to ensure they are an accurate description of the facilities available. Although there is no enclosed garden adjacent to the cottage, we do offer a large, enclosed, grass area within our garden that other guests and their dogs have enjoyed using. Property Owner

Main thing that stood out was the facilities, washing machine and everything required in the shed which was excellent. Owner messaged the day before so easily able to contact if there was any problems or for any questions. When meeting the owner, he couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, really lovely and approachable man. Cottage very clean and tidy, lovely location. Thank you very much.

It was spotless, and every item you could have needed was included. For example, kitchen roll, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, milk, sweeteners, homemade honey, the list is endless honestly. Free wifi, pet friendly. Our dog loved playing with the owners dog in their paddock. There was a bench table in the paddock so we could sit & have a drink while our dog played happily. Also next to our cottage was a shed with a washing machine, iron, ironing board, dog towels ( if he got wet) and hoover, brush etc. Really, I couldn’t give you one negative piece of feedback, so thank you again to both Sykes Cottages for their smooth & easy booking system, and to the owners of Yeomans Cottage, Allerston.
