The property

There is an inviting sitting room with a small, sunny conservatory leading off, whilst the dining room has French windows leading to a lovely private patio garden.

The small but well-equipped kitchen in your North Yorkshire cottage boasts a six-hob range cooker whilst upstairs, the double bedrooms are individually styled and still retain the original cast iron fireplaces.

Outside your holiday cottage, steps lead down to a tiered patio garden, providing a perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine after a busy day exploring your surroundings.

From your Ampleforth cottage the village amenities are on the doorstep, including two excellent pubs serving good food, a village shop and a fish and chip shop.

Enjoy a three-mile walk to the beautiful ruins of Byland Abbey or take a five-mile drive to the delightful honeypot town of Helmsley, with its elegant buildings situated around the market square.
