The property

This charming cottage is located on a small complex in the village of Barmston, providing a homely base for guests to return to after a day of sightseeing and adventure.

Enjoy a romantic trip for two, or a family beach holiday, where you and your loved ones can come together and make the most of this delightful retreat.

A lovely kitchen welcomes you on arrival, elevated by its country feel and heart-warming setup, ideal for preparing those appetising meals before relaxing at the dining table which seats up to four people.

Afterwards, why not cosy up in the lounge, which boasts leather sofas, an aesthetic fire and patio doors that open out to a gravelled enclosed garden.

You will look forward to spending your downtime here, perfect for some peace and quiet, when you need a moment or two to unwind.

The bedrooms are situated on the next floor, the first is a double housing a freestanding wardrobe, a dressing table and characterful furnishings.

Exposed ceiling beams and pleasant views set a cosy atmosphere for a good night's sleep.

Secondly, a twin room is knitted together with pretty décor, white beams and a bedside table that lies central to the room.

The heart of the village has a pub serving food, and an Italian restaurant only a ten minute walk away.

In between the traditional seaside towns of Bridlington and Skipsea, the area is ideal for family holidays, with plenty of activities and attractions to explore, including Bempton Nature Reserve, Hornsea Freeport, golf courses and historic houses and gardens.
