To say that you will want and need for nothing whilst you are here is an understatement - everything you need is available for you - I arrived needing a refreshing holiday and I literally again, didn’t want to leave. This place is beautiful. I’ve had yet another lovely week away and can’t wait to return.

"We wanted for nothing at Shippon - staying for the second time."
Only sad we didnt manage to book a full week. We will go again - still plenty to see in the area and want to be able to sit outside and eat/ have a drink to fully enjoy the view. Any issues we had were dealt with straight away.

"The best cottage we have stayed in."
A lovely welcome basket, milk and orange juice in the fridge and a vase of cut flowers/greenery from the garden. Cleanliness of the whole property, including all utensils/ crockery and furnishings was truly outstanding . The view from the cottage was amazing ( even binoculars provided by the hosts Fiona and Tim) and was a perfect location for exploring the local and wider area. Will definitely be returning.

"Shippon is an ideal location for exploring the North York Moors and seaside resorts."
The accommodation is spacious and well appointed with easy parking and, a big bonus, a comfortable sunny patio. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful during our stay. Would recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful and clean on arrival and the flowers and welcome basket were a lovely added touch. Wonderful views and a very well maintained setting. A cosy cottage to come back to at the end of a busy day. Everything we needed was there, Fiona even came to our rescue when we burnt the toast on the first morning!! We will definitely recommend Shippon to family and friends and we'd certainly be happy to make a return visit at some point.

"Everything about beautiful Shippon was exactly as described."
It was private and very comfortable. We were welcomed with supplies of tea and coffee and several extras too, like soap in the kitchen and bathroom and tablets for the dishwasher. There were lashings of hot water, plenty of fluffy towels, not to mention the comfy king size bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. There was an iron, ironing board and handy clothes airer too. The view was wonderful which we enjoyed whilst sitting out on the patio.
Fiona was a lovely attentive host and even gave us a change of linen and towels during our two week stay - so thoughtful and much appreciated.
Staying at Shippon made our holiday - we’d definitely come again!

Fiona could not do enough for us. Ideal property if you have mobility issues. Great to have sheep and goats on the property who are very friendly and well as 2 beautiful dogs. Can’t wait to return. Lovely gesture from Fiona as it was my birthday whilst we were away. Would highly recommend this property.

"What an amazing cottage, the pictures don't do it justice on how much of a wow factor it has from first turning the corner and seeing it too walking through the door."
You can tell fiona and Tim have put a lot thought into making your stay special from the welcome basket of lovely treats waiting for you to the cottage having everything you will need, two good folders of useful information, big sofa to relax on watching TV or reading one of the books of interest they have there, lovely outside patio to sit out and soak up the atmosphere of the countryside, an amazing kitchen with everything you need and more,a luxurious big shower room and the most comfiest bed that when your head hits that pillow you'll be fast asleep, if your thinking of booking I'd definitely recommend you won't be disappointed, we'll be definitely booking again

"The cottage was beautifully presented, meticulously cleaned and we had everything we needed for our stay, including a lovely welcome basket with some goodies in it (they were consumed happily)."
The shower was powerful and hot, the bed was comfortable and neat and there was the added bonus of a smart TV so we could stream netflix.
Oh, and the sunrise/sunset is stunning. Pointing in the perfect direction to see it.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat

"Wow just Wow!"
!!! Having just returned from a week's stay at Shippon what can I say. From the moment you enter the Property it's just beautiful. Every little thing has been well thought out. The cleanliness is the best we have stayed in . It's warm and cosy and equipped to a high standard. All the Fixtures and Fittings are all top quality and it retains a lot of the Original Features of the Barn. The views from the Balcony are to die for a wonderful place to spend your time. Fiona and Becca are great hosts always on hand and great for any info you need to know. George Aggie and Otto are the Stars of the Show such cuties. We have had such a wonderful relaxing time cannot wait to come back. Thankyou Fiona and Becca xx

"We travelled as a couple and stayed at Shippon property in Beadlam."
The property looks like a bungalow/converted barn... full of character. It was very clean, bright, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Large patio doors led to a table and chairs overlooking farmland and beautiful sunrises. We will definitely return.

"What an amazing relaxing property to stay in."
Fiona and Tim were the perfect host, as you weren’t even aware that the property is attached to their home.
We spent four lovely relaxing nights and felt chilled when we arrived home just what we needed.
We walked in to the village, of Beadlam which only took 5 minutes and had a meal and drinks at the pub, we also visited the farm shop along the road for some tasty treats.
Would visit the Shippon again.

Nothing was too much trouble for them and were very helpful. The location is ideal for touring this beautiful area.
Helmsley is close by with everything you need with an abundance of eateries and individual shops to suit all tastes. The Shippon is beautiful and a pleasure to return to at the end of the day. We would love to return.
