“A lovely welcoming cottage”This is a great place to stay for exploring Beverley and the surrounding areas. The "double" bed - more than - was really comfy and the room quiet despite being on the main road. This traditional end-terrace cottage, believed to have once been a toll cottage for livestock passing through to graze on the pastures at Beverley Westwood, is situated in the historic market town of Beverley. The market town of Beverley with its famous minster and racecourse, offers a wide range of affluent retail shops, galleries, tea rooms, restaurants and a twice-weekly market.
Why not follow the David Hockney trail and explore the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds that inspired his famous paintings, or visit the nearby stately homes and gardens of Sledmere House, and Burton Agnes Hall?
The seaside resorts of Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and Hornsea can be easily reached, making this lovely cottage an ideal base for an enjoyable and varied holiday.
