“We cannot express how grateful we were to find not only the most perfect rural retreat which we desperately wanted but to meet the nicest owners who would go out of their way to be helpful, so kind and very thoughtful.”

    ...

It was a superb cottage, located on the edge of Dalby Forest - all of the furnishings were to a high specification, delivered with great taste and attention to detail. Everything was so comfortable and of good quality. It was all the little touches that meant that the owners really wanted you to enjoy their haven and share their beautiful surroundings. Flowers in the cottage from their own garden, herbs growing in containers on the door step, bird books with binoculars and home made cake on our arrival which was gorgeous. You could hear water running down the hills, rustling of wind in the forest trees and birdsong all day long. The wildlife was always present and with the stunning backdrop of the forest and autumnal colours it was just perfection in nature. The cottage had everything you could wish for and I would urge anyone who wants a rural hideaway to consider this property. We will certainly be looking to return at some point in the future for all of the reasons outlined above.
