The property

Nestled at the centre of the North York Moors National Park surrounded by an abundance of nature and stunning natural settings. The studio offers the perfect base for nature lovers, wildlife watchers and walkers, or simply relaxing in a peaceful countryside retreat surrounded by forest watching the abundance of bird life.

Outskirts of Langdale End between the vibrant villages of Thornton Dale and Scalby, both approx. 10 miles from the studio. Pull up onto the gravelled drive of the property and stop to take in your surroundings, amongst fields and woodlands, this property provides the perfect backdrop for a getaway with your loved one. Step into the dwelling to find a wondrous open-plan studio layout, a handy arrangement letting you relax from every angle of the room which offers comfortable dining, a king size bed and smart TV.

Though modest, The Studio has tasteful decor and includes a two ring hob, microwave and fridge with a small ice box compartment.

A slow cooker is provided for those who prefer a hearty stew!

The conservatory is light and airy with comfortable seating, it overlooks meadow land and the forest beyond; a haven for bird watching, wildlife watching and stargazing.

There is no light pollution at this location and the sky offers its magic on a clear night.

Step outside and enjoy your morning coffee on the patio where the sounds and sights of nature and wildlife surround you.

The stone wall is home to voles and lizards and for the patient wildlife watcher, twilight brings out the badgers and foxes and early mornings the regular visiting of squirrels and deer and the birds of prey are a joy to watch.

There are some lovely woodland walks on the doorstep with amazing views of the forest landscape and the nearby Dalby Forest is a five-minute drive away, where you can enjoy walking, cycling the trails, or for the more adventurous, experience Dalby’s famous ‘Go Ape’. There are a number of pubs within 10 miles along the country roads towards Scalby, Thornton Dale or the North York Moors, with Scarborough only being a 20 minute drive and offers beaches, beautiful gardens, the castle and the long marine drive with a flat pedestrian walkway the length of the seashore and cafes along the way.

If you wish to venture a little further, in less than an hour, the scenic drive through the North York Moors leads to the seaside town of Whitby with its quirky streets and diverse shops and restaurants. The Studio is a haven of peace, tranquility and solace yet is within 20 minutes of Thornton Dale and Scalby which offer shops, cafes, pubs and more scenic walks.

Unwind, relax and enjoy!
