162 Filey Road rests on a residential road where you can kick back after an adventurous day at the seaside, cooking up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen, fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and a dishwasher.

Also on the ground floor is a stylish living/dining room, decorated with oak floors and leather sofas, here you can enjoy quality time in front of the logburner as you catch up on the TV, or enjoy a few drinks and a takeaway on the sociable dining table.

Alternatively, delight in an afternoon of alfresco dining in the enclosed garden, gathering on the delightful seating as you savour a glass of wine in the sunshine.

As the evening draws to a close, head upstairs where three gorgeous bedrooms await, choosing between two inviting double rooms and a single room with a fold out bed, ensuring a flexible sleeping arrangement for a variety of groups.

Unwind and relax in a soothing bubble bath in the bathroom, or decide to hop in for a lovely rinse in the spacious walk-in shower before a fun-filled day ahead.

The centre of Scarborough is just a scenic drive or leisurely stroll away, home to an abundance of incredible amenities to keep you well fed during your stay, including a choice of supermarkets for home-cooking, independent shops where you can enjoy some retail therapy, and a large range of dining options.

Relish in a classic fish and chips on the pier, beachside views from a quirky café, or tuck in to a traditional Yorkshire roast at one of the welcoming pubs.

Pick between two glorious sandy beaches for a day of relaxation on the golden sands, taking a swim in the sparkling waters, or building sandcastles with the kids, whilst other local attractions include Scarborough Castle, Alpamare Water Park, Peasholm Park, the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, and the marvelous SEA LIFE Centre.

Travel over to the historic seaside town of Whitby where you can discover the gothic Whitby Abbey, Pannett Park gardens, and the Victorian Whitby Museum, or head to the exciting market town of Pickering with a fabulous wealth of amenities and shops.

Why not challenge yourself to adventure throughout the North York Moors National Park for rambling, cycling, horse riding, and watersports next to striking scenes of rural landscapes, or, try your luck at a long hike along the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast.
