Within walking distance, the small Georgian spa village of Boston Spa, just 1.5 miles away, offers a good selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops.

Wetherby is a real delight, while a bit further afield is the ancient market town of Knaresborough, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

The town is very popular as it overlooks the River Nidd and is considered one of the prettiest towns in North Yorkshire.

There are many day trips on offer from your Wetherby cottage, with York, Harrogate and Skipton all well worth a visit.

Wetherby is an ancient market town set in the centre of the Golden Triangle, twelve miles from York and Leeds and eight miles from Harrogate. Its location makes Wetherby ideal as a base for touring the stunning countryside of both the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
