  • "Lovely property - spotless, all home comforts and good communication with owner."

    Fresh baked bread and other groceries on arrival much appreciated. Good local amenities. Tight fiddly parking space because of bad parking by others and fence immediately opposite. Stairs, doors and both upstairs floors very creaky - impossible for anyone to go to loo in middle of the night without waking whole house. Road outside busy so fair bit of traffic noise. Good points outweighs not so good though so would stay again if visiting the area.

    So pleased you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your feedback as it’s essential for us to keep the best standards possible. I would just clarify a few things which maybe misunderstood by potential guests, the property is not on a main road it is in the village connecting other farming villages and the traffic after dark is minimal. The car space is adequate for most vehicle, contractors have parked their transit vans and we have had guests with large 4WD, unfortunately you must have experienced poor parking by neighbours. I have checked all doors for ‘ ‘squeaking’ but unfortunately all houses have noises which we accept after a while but I can’t do anything about the floorboards and this has not been an issue mentioned before.   • "No 9 Orchard Mews is a splendid property, well appointed and very comfortable."

    The house was spotless on arrival. The owner explained all the kitchen appliances and the heating sytem. It is ideally situated for exploring east yorkshire's coast and countryside. The village has everything you would need. A post office, store, chippy, 2 pubs and a chinese restaurant. We had an excellent week staying there.

    Lovely welcome from very helpful owner (including delicious homemade bread). Well equipped kitchen for when we wanted to cook. Well stocked local shop, post office, 2 pubs, fish and chips and Chinese eat in/takeaway within very easy walking distance.

  • "We had a great holiday at Orchard Mews."

    House Is clean with all necessities. Owner gave us a warm welcome with very nice home made bread and other bits and bobs. Orchard Mews is situated in a quite village directly opposite a nice playground which my grandson loved. It’s close to coastal attractions such as Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. Highly recommended.

The property

Tucked away in the rural village of Brandesburton, close to the East Yorkshire coast, is this lovely three-bedroom house, 9 Orchard Mews.

Enjoying a peaceful location with all amenities close by, 9 Orchard Mews is a fantastic dog-friendly dwelling for a family of five plus their four-legged friend.

Look forward to whipping up flavourful meals in the sleek kitchen, featuring white cabinetry and a handy washing machine, ready to enjoy at the dining table for six.

On warmer days, make dinner an alfresco affair out on your private rear patio as your canine companion stretches their legs.

As the evening cools, gather your loved ones in the sitting room to enjoy a family favourite on the TV, as the evenings entertainment.

Completing the ground floor is a cloakroom for your convenience.

Hornsea 6.5 miles; Beverley 9.7 miles.

The small village of Brandesburton lies in the East Riding of Yorkshire between Hornsea and Beverley. Surrounded by open countryside, this small village hosts two local shops, two traditional village inns, three restaurants/takeaways - Chinese, Italian and Fish and Chips, a nearby golf course and a small village green, plus numerous fishing ponds and nearby watersports facilities. There is a nearby indoor market and car boot sale every Sunday at Skirlington. The seaside town of Hornsea lies just under 7 miles to the east and offers traditional seaside amenities with long golden sands, extensive promenade and ornamental gardens, tea rooms and pubs.
