  • "We were very grateful to be accommodated at the last moment by the owner."

We stayed for three weeks. A lovely cottage, well maintained and clean with good facilities.Host left a very nice welcome pack. We found the stairs very steep. A beautiful part of Yorkshire and we were able to explore the area .

  • "We had a lovely week at 2 Sandringham cottage."

Everything you needed was catered for. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding and towels were top quality. The welcome tray was very much appreciated. Our cocker spaniel Jasper loved the garden. Thank you Andrea.

  • "Wonderful Cottage!"

From the minute we arrived we felt straight at home and that includes our cat who is normally very picky. Beautifully presented, clean, comfortable and has all mod cons you could need. The shower is fantastic and beds lovely & cosy. Fully enclosed garden so immediately comfortable letting the cat wander in and out when it wasn't raining. The only slight downside for an older couple are the steep stairs but to be expected in a cottage. This is our fourth visit to Brantingham, love the village, so peaceful & quiet, we treat it as a bolthole to get away from busy lives. We have previously rented another cottage a little way up the road but this one beats it hands down. Triton Inn is literally across the road, good food and drink but would recommend booking as very popular. We've booked another property in the Lakes this summer but hope to be able to book back into 2 Sandringham Cottages in the Autumn, we can't wait to come back. Thank you Andrea for allowing us to stay in your lovely property. Kevin, Cathy & Tilly - Apr 2023

  • "Super cottage in a lovely location."

Everything in the cottage that you would need with some extra treats left. Beautiful back garden to sit. A lovely village to walk around and a pub in a 2 minute walking distance.

  • "Just spent a week in this lovely little cottage with our Cockapoo."

Sitting room was small but comfortable with a log burner which was well used due to the great British weather. The kitchen was large and well equipped and had a nice welcome pack, it also had a bonus of a downstairs toilet. Very narrow, step stairs leading up to two lovely bedrooms, with very comfortable beds. Both bedrooms have access to a very nice shower room. Garden is fully enclosed but unable to use because of the weather. Couple of small negatives, I know we should have informed the owner (we had planned to but it slipped my mind) but a couple of light bulbs were out (spot light in bathroom and main bulb in single room) also a few cobwebs on the walls and a couple of light shades but these are very minor things. Being mid terrace you could hear neighbours tv and dogs but thats to be expected, saying that the neighbours were very nice. Brantingham is a very nice village with easy access to surrounding areas

  • "An absolutely perfect little cottage in a beautiful little village in a Dale."

Extremely well looked after. Clean, Kitchen and equipment immaculate, and comfortable and warm and cosy. Perfect for walking in the local area and also just for visiting friends, family. Close to Hull and about 40 mins from the beautiful East Yorkshire coast. One thing for people to be aware of is the the tiny staircase and how narrow and steep it is. But saying that its a beautiful character cottage. Will definitely be going back to stay!

  • "Very comfortable property, very well equiped, everything as described and the process was hasstle free from start to finish."

Nice welcome pack and plenty of information about the surronding area. Nice drive to visit York and Beverley with Bridlington just a little further on. Good local pubs serving good food (and beer).

  • "This was probably the best holiday cottage rental we’ve had."

Beautifully decorated, well equipped, comfortable furniture and beds, conveniently situated for our needs. A generous welcome tray with cake, biscuits, bread, milk, eggs, wine was much appreciated. The secure rear garden was perfect for the dog and I’d imagine is a sun trap. Central heating was more than adequate but we enjoyed having a log burner too. I hope to stay here again. Only thing we would ask for is a couple of coat hooks down stairs. Thank you for lovely accommodation

  • "This cottage is managed 'to a hotel standard' by the Host with attention to detail."

Lovely and appropriate Welcome Hamper, really nice clean property, well decorated, well equipped and exceptionally comfy beds, with lovely crisp white bedding. All the furnishings and equipment were of good quality and in good condition. No issues with parking - you do need a car to do anything, but walking around the village was a treat. The Host was lovely and attended to a plumbing issue immediately so I wan't inconvenienced. A great property to stay in for this part of England.

  • "Cottage was very well equipped with majority of day to day items anyone would need during their stay and all of a very good quality."

Corner of garden area outside doors from kitchen was a lovely little suntrap to sit & have breakfast or just a drink. Being of an older age group we had a slight struggle with the stairs as used to a bungalow but that's our fault for booking a property with them and for not being very fit. Triton Pub serves very nice food, would recommend booking as gets very busy.
