  • “Small and quiet site.”

Very friendly and close to a town and easy base for exploring lots of areas. The Cabin is really lovely and very comfortable.

About the property

Malton 3.5 miles.

Nestled on a small site in the village of Amotherby, close to the hustle and bustle of Matlon, lies this delightful lodge.

Nestled amidst the breath-taking landscapes of both of Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the North York Moors National Park, this inviting abode makes a fabulous base for families or a group of four eager to explore the North Yorkshire countryside.

After a day of outdoor rambles, ease into your evening from the open-plan living space, whether it be lounging on the plush sofa beside the electric fire, or rustling up something tasty in the well-equipped kitchen, Crystal Lodge has got you covered.

Continue the entertainment outside, where a decked area offers a hot tub and furniture set, so you can enjoy alfresco dining followed by a soothing dip under the stars.

As the night rolls in, there are two charming bedrooms to choose from, including a king-size with en-suite shower and a twin, both presented to a beautiful standard with fresh white bed linen and fitted storage for your personal items.

Completing the interior of Crystal Lodge is a lush family bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can enjoy both lazy soaks and refreshing rinses.

If you can tear yourself away from this fantastic base, venture into the vibrant town of Malton, boasting an array of shops for you to pick up any essentials items, as well as being a top foodie destination with a number of excellent pubs, restaurants and an excellent weekly market.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find the time to explore the picturesque Yorkshire Moors, covering 554 square miles of picturesque landscapes and stunning views among a choice of walking trails, cycling routes, birdwatching and outdoor activities like rock climbing, kayaking and Go Ape.

Venture to the fine city of York, home to a wealth of culture and history, where you can sip on cocktails in a cool bar, visit the stunning Cathedral, sample food at a quality eatery or browse the high-street shops in search for a souvenir to take back home.

If you fancy a day by the coast, the seaside resort of Scarborough is recommended, boasting a quintessentially English atmosphere where you can lounge on the soft sands or try some watersports if you dare!

There’s plenty to look forward to whilst staying at Crystal Lodge.
