  • "The lodge was amazing, as were all the places around to visit."

I would have said we had a 5 star stay if it had not been for the fact that the heating turned down very low over night and the lodge became very cold. The duvets were very thin so meant we all woke up cold at some point in the night. We ended up going out to buy fan heaters for the bedrooms. Although this would not be an issue for anyone staying in the spring/summer months.

Thank you for the feed back , the heating is set at 17 on a night time and set at 20 at 6am in the morning if it wasn’t warm enough you can turn it up on the thermostat before you go to bed instructions on how to use the the heating are at the side of the thermostat this will override the setting or if I was contacted I could of altered the settings for you it wouldn’t of been a problem, many thanks Property Owner

  • "Arrive and pleasantly surprise with the size of the property."

Clean and welcomed with a bottle wine. Nice touch with Jean’s Lodge named glasses. Hot tub was a great hit, although in second night it didn’t seem to maintain it temperature. Although we did start using it earlier than the night before so don’t know if that was a factor. The Veranda area was brilliant for the dogs too. Would recommend this property.

  • "Lodge was everything if not more than we were hopeing for."

Clean, comfortable, heated, plenty hot water, washing machine, fridge, fab cooker and hob, well equipped kitchen. Luxury hot tub which we spent plenty time in. Excellent decking area with well thought out fencing so our small jackawawa couldn't escape through the gaps. Comfortable bedrooms, lounge and dinning area. We visited Malton, Scarborough and York during our stay. Couldn't fault Jeans Lodge at all. Thank you for a fab place to stay in.
