Also for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The entrance to the lane to the cottage is not easily found so had to ring the owner for instructions once we were in the village. Maybe some sort of signage would be useful. The owner is very pleasant and is on hand most of the time for queries. It was a shame that the patio set outside did not have a little table to put drinks/nibbles on. Felt a little uncomfortable that we did not get a key for the outer door, so it was just a case of shutting it! We had a key for the inner door into the sitting room but the downstairs shower room/toilet was in between these 2 doors. Therefore to use this facility in the night you had to unlock the door. These are small issues, but apart from these we had a lovely week in North Yorkshire helped by some very hot weather. Had 1 meal at the Nags Head (Cantonese restaurant) which is in the village and would recommend it.

This charming cottage is tucked away into the village of Pickhill, located adjacent to the owner's property, with its own private pond.

Welcoming guests to its doors, Pond View is the perfect contemporary and character blend, home to a collection of rooms, with some even featuring lovely pond views.

Inside you will be delighted by the cosy lounge, which includes mismatched seating and an electric fire to warm those cooler evenings.

There is a country cottage kitchen designed in a farmhouse style, also hosting a range cooker, as well as a table where you can all gather for some quality time together.

Discover the walk-in shower room, utility area, and twin room, also located on the ground floor; you will be spoilt for choice with two further bedrooms upstairs, all benefiting from dressing tables and effective side lighting.

An en-suite shower room makes up the layout, whilst a walk-in shower room can be found on the lower level, easily accessible for those with limited mobility.

Enjoy everything Pond View has to offer, from the outdoor furniture, to the calming landscape beyond, a lovely spot to admire when the sun is shining.
