“We booked this property for the Easter weekend and we were not disappointed.”

The booking process was straightforward and when I did have to call to check I had requested an extra parking permit, I spoke to a very friendly and helpful advisor, who assured me that she would look into and get back to me, which she did with a phone call a few moments later, very impressive. Upon arrival, Paula (the lovely caretaker who is based next door), greeted us with a friendly smile and welcome. We had arrived a little earlier than the check in time, but she assured it would be ok for us to make ourselves comfortable and she explained about the parking permit we had requested, Paula made us feel very welcome and assured that if needed anything during our stay, to just let her know. We agreed that the fact that someone is nearby, should you need any help during your stay, is reassuring. There is off the road parking for one car, which is a real bonus in Bridlington, but if you have additional cars, just mention when booking and permits will be provided for you. We managed to find a space quite easily, during this busy weekend. A lovely welcome pack was waiting for us, which included much appreciated fresh milk and tea and coffee, always a must after a journey and also some delicious fresh bread and butter, plus some handmade Easter chocolates for us all (thank you). Seaside Villa is very spacious, clean and really feels like a home from home where you can relax and enjoy your stay. Everything is provided for you, from towels (again, always much appreciated) and there were plenty, even hand towels were provided in each en-suite and the family bathroom, which was a thoughtful touch, as usually towels if provided are limited, to hand soap, bath mats, kitchen utensils, books, magazines, dvd’s and a lovely selection of toys for children. As someone who is yet to learn the art of travelling light, I can honestly say that I could have packed a lot less for this stay, as a lot of thought has been put into what to provide for guests. The location is close to both the train and bus stations, so ideal if you want to get out and about and explore other areas, without taking the car. If you need any inspiration about where to visit, check out the two baskets in the hallway, which have lots of ideas. You are also close to the beach and centre, but during our stay, we found it to be peaceful and quiet once we got back to Seaside Villa. There is a private area outside, where you could sit and enjoy the sun if you wished to. The fact that each room has its own en-suite is another plus point, saves all that queuing for the bathroom and nice to have that space for yourself. I am sure that the snug would be popular with children, I know my little one loved it (declared he was staying there), there is a tv and a great selection of toys and games, again another thoughtful gesture. We were lucky during our visit that the weather was good, so we were able to go out and about and enjoy the sun, but I am sure that if the weather had not been so good and we had had to stay in, there would have been plenty to keep us all occupied. If you do need to do any cooking during your stay, the cooker is amazing, both electric and gas ovens, so great if cooking for a large number. Overall, I would most definitely both recommend Seaside Villa and hope to return.
