  • "The property was beautiful, clean, tidy and everything you need at hand."

Close to all amenities and within walking distance to loads of places. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back again. The kids had great fun exploring the house and the concrete back area. Neighbours are lovely aswell and all very welcoming. The house is warm and cosy and neutrally decorated. Loads of space (we had a full house and didn't feel like we were on top of each other) lovely wee snug the kids could disappear to and then enjoy again after their bath next door to it. The beds are comfy altho slightly cold at the top of the house at night time at this time of the year but sorted that by putting the heating up slightly at night time. Over all we had a great time and would love to go back again. Thank you to all involved in the property. It's by far one of the best we have stayed in.

We felt really comfortable and homely. Very close to the beach which meant we could walk there. Awesome tide and beach was lovely.

  • "House is in good location with the benefit of a private parking space."

Ideal en suites to every bedroom albeit they are rather small. Paula was very helpful when we had a problem with the tv. Plenty of crockery but could do with replacing some saucepan and oven trays. Only a problem if you want to cook though. All in all good holiday with sunshine!

  • "We had a lovely stay at seaside villa."

We stayed as a family of 7 and the space and facility’s of the house were perfect for our large family parking space on the drive great Clothes storage in the rooms (Lots of hanger) iron, ironing board, brush, hover, washing machine, dryer, dish washer and a very large cooker with all the cutlery, crockery, pans and cooking utensils you could possibly need everything we needed was there. The beds are extremely comfy with all bedding and towels provided, all rooms have there own bathrooms and a separate family bathroom so with so many of us having 6 toilets in the property was defiantly a bonus. Paula and her husband who look after the property live just next door and are on hand should you need anything at all. The back garden is a sun trap on a morning/early afternoon with a big table and seating so it was nice to sit out with a coffee in the sun planning our day ahead, very child friendly garden. As we stayed just as lockdown restriction were lifted it’s understandable all games/books/dvds were removed from the property but the snug had a tv so my son took along his PS4 and the added bonus of WiFi kept him entertained when in the house. The house is less than 5min walk to the sea front and 10mins to the shopping centre we could not recommend this property enough. Was a fantastic house for our staycation and I would defiantly recommend this property. Many thanks.

  • "Clean and spacious house, lots of bathrooms, comfy beds."

However, I think they need to change the name of the property, calling it Seaside Villa is misleading. It is an ok house on a dodgy street and a walk away from the sea.

  • "Very well equipped house, couldn't fault it."

Not far back from the sea and all the shops and pubs/restaurants. Nice welcome pack which was greatly received. Caretaker lives next door which could be very useful if needed. Dog bed and bowls were put out which was a very nice touch too. Only downside as certain areas fairly close by very a little run down.

  • "Seaside Villa is an excellent holiday house."

It's very spacious, comfortable and equipped with every facility we needed and more. Great position with only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to town. As a family get together of 6 adults and a dog we really appreciated the 2 parking spaces. The back yard is a real sun trap and it was lovely to sit there for breakfast or a drink in the evening. Lovely walk along the wide sea front promenade to the dog friendly beach and Sewerby Hall. We enjoyed short drives for afternoons out at Hornsey and Scarborough. The Ship Inn at Sewerby and the cafe at Fraisthorpe beach were very dog friendly. Paula and her husband next door were extremely friendly caretakers and immediately fixed a problem we had with the bath plug. The only slight problem we had was the king size bed on the top floor was a bit squeeky so Paula is going to look into getting that sorted. We would definitely recommend Seaside Villa and will return.

  • "We booked this property for the Easter weekend and we were not disappointed."

The booking process was straightforward and when I did have to call to check I had requested an extra parking permit, I spoke to a very friendly and helpful advisor, who assured me that she would look into and get back to me, which she did with a phone call a few moments later, very impressive. Upon arrival, Paula (the lovely caretaker who is based next door), greeted us with a friendly smile and welcome. We had arrived a little earlier than the check in time, but she assured it would be ok for us to make ourselves comfortable and she explained about the parking permit we had requested, Paula made us feel very welcome and assured that if needed anything during our stay, to just let her know. We agreed that the fact that someone is nearby, should you need any help during your stay, is reassuring. There is off the road parking for one car, which is a real bonus in Bridlington, but if you have additional cars, just mention when booking and permits will be provided for you. We managed to find a space quite easily, during this busy weekend. A lovely welcome pack was waiting for us, which included much appreciated fresh milk and tea and coffee, always a must after a journey and also some delicious fresh bread and butter, plus some handmade Easter chocolates for us all (thank you). Seaside Villa is very spacious, clean and really feels like a home from home where you can relax and enjoy your stay. Everything is provided for you, from towels (again, always much appreciated) and there were plenty, even hand towels were provided in each en-suite and the family bathroom, which was a thoughtful touch, as usually towels if provided are limited, to hand soap, bath mats, kitchen utensils, books, magazines, dvd’s and a lovely selection of toys for children. As someone who is yet to learn the art of travelling light, I can honestly say that I could have packed a lot less for this stay, as a lot of thought has been put into what to provide for guests. The location is close to both the train and bus stations, so ideal if you want to get out and about and explore other areas, without taking the car. If you need any inspiration about where to visit, check out the two baskets in the hallway, which have lots of ideas. You are also close to the beach and centre, but during our stay, we found it to be peaceful and quiet once we got back to Seaside Villa. There is a private area outside, where you could sit and enjoy the sun if you wished to. The fact that each room has its own en-suite is another plus point, saves all that queuing for the bathroom and nice to have that space for yourself. I am sure that the snug would be popular with children, I know my little one loved it (declared he was staying there), there is a tv and a great selection of toys and games, again another thoughtful gesture. We were lucky during our visit that the weather was good, so we were able to go out and about and enjoy the sun, but I am sure that if the weather had not been so good and we had had to stay in, there would have been plenty to keep us all occupied. If you do need to do any cooking during your stay, the cooker is amazing, both electric and gas ovens, so great if cooking for a large number. Overall, I would most definitely both recommend Seaside Villa and hope to return.

  • "We visited Seaside Villa as part of a celebration for my sister's birthday and we absolutely loved the place!"

It was clean, well furnished and very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with mugs, plates, glasses etc. It's clear that the owners have made an effort to make sure guests have everything they need. It was also reassuring to know that the caretaker for the house lives next door; she popped out to say "hello" as soon as we arrived. Everyone in our party really appreciated the ensuite bathrooms in every bedroom -- they are a bit on the small side, but we'd all take having the privacy of our own small bathroom over having to share one bathroom any day! So that was a huge benefit. It was a tad chilly in the house, especially in the bedrooms (note: we visited in February and it was cold outside, too!) but we actually enjoyed curling up with the fire on in the living room and snuggling under the duvets in the super-comfy beds, so it wasn't actually a problem at all. In summary, it's a spacious property in a convenient location for a decent price. We'd highly recommend it!

  • "We had a lovely time at Seaside Villa."

The house was spacious and accommodated 7 adults, 2 under 2s and a dog well especially as we all had en-suite bedrooms as well as a family bathroom. The house was very clean and tidy and the welcome pack of food was very unexpected especially the homemade chocolates! The owner Margaret had even decorated the house with Christmas decorations in every room including 2 trees which really made it feel festive. The caretaker Paula next door was also so friendly and helpful and was on hand to help if needed. All in all a lovely property in a great location to explore Bridlington and the surrounding areas and we had a great family Christmas
