    “Our terraced first floor apartment ...”

    Our terraced first floor apartment is delightful. We particularly found the living room comfortable with one big sofa, a buffet for placing all our technology on, loads of pamphlets to read and a dining table in the bay window area. The alcove provides a lovely view of the garden while we are dining. The bedroom is very roomy. The bed is large and comfortable as are the pillows. There is a wardrobe to hang our clothes in. The tv, wifi and heater all work well. The kitchen stove works well, and ...

    Our terraced first floor apartment is delightful. We particularly found the living room comfortable with one big sofa, a buffet for placing all our technology on, loads of pamphlets to read and a dining table in the bay window area. The alcove provides a lovely view of the garden while we are dining. The bedroom is very roomy. The bed is large and comfortable as are the pillows. There is a wardrobe to hang our clothes in. The tv, wifi and heater all work well. The kitchen stove works well, and there are ice cubes in the frig. The counter space is very limited, making it difficult to cook a home cooked meal with all the trimmings for supper. The bathroom is at the back of the house. The shower works well. The house is entered through the back door which is original. We have enjoyed our stay here and would happily return. The apartment is well located to all amenities in Ripon. We are a short walk to the bus station and the Aldi is nearby.

This superb apartment is set out over the entire ground floor of an impressive Grade II listed building, in the cathedral city of Ripon.

The light and airy sitting room boasts an electric flame-effect fire in a feature fireplace, along with a dining table and chairs in the bay window to provide a charming place to relax and unwind with your loved one.

Next to the sitting room is the bedroom, where a good night’s sleep is guaranteed in the fabulous super king-size double bed.

From the double bedroom and down the hallway you will then find a well-equipped kitchen for preparing a lovely home-cooked meal after a busy day, and then onto the bathroom, which has period fixtures and fittings.

Outside there’s a parking area to the rear, and to the front is a paved garden with a rockery, flowers and shrubs.

This quality self-catering apartment is on one of the most desirable roads in Ripon, where some of the oldest buildings and structures in the city are located, including a Grade II listed clock tower, which was built in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.

Access to a number of walking routes can also be found along this road, and the city centre is only a five minute walk away.

Ripon is dominated by a beautiful cathedral, which is open everyday and is well worth spending a couple of hours exploring all that it offers.

Also found in Ripon are the Yorkshire Law & Order Museums, craft markets, a number of shops and pubs, specialist cinema, a racecourse, a park and excellent riverside and canal walks.

The well-known Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden are within walking distance along the banks of the River Skell, and within driving distance are Harrogate, York and both the stunning Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.

A wonderful apartment in a convenient location, with plenty to see and do at whatever time of year that you wish to stay.

Even the famous Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden are within walking distance along the banks of the River Skell and it is just a few miles to the popular Lightwater Valley Theme Park. The historic houses of Norton Conyers and Newby Hall & Gardens are also close by. If you do feel the need to get in the car and explore, Ripon is ideal for touring both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, not to mention Harrogate, Knaresborough and York too!
