  • "Isis has been an ideal base for Bempton Cliffs, Flaborough Head and the railway station 10 minutes walk with a good service across Yorkshire."

We went to among other places York, well worth a day. The only slight problems were aerial TV reception is unreliable and patchy but as we are not great TV watchers not an issue. Struggled with the heating instructions which I struggled to comprehend but of course that could just be me.

There is 5-hours between change overs there should be plenty of time to reach a high standard.

  • "The bungalow was conveniently sited for bird watching, cliff walking and rock pooling."

The property was nice and clean, although the decking was in need of a power wash. The garden furniture was a little tired, but fit for purpose. A washing up bowl would be helpful as would be at least some washing up liquid, surface cleaner and loo cleaner, I appreciate it’s a self catering holiday but a few basics but be welcome. All that said we would stay there again.

  • "We loved the cottage and would stay again."

It could have had a more thorough clean, the skirting boards had a lot of dust and dog hair, my husband even found a pubic hair on the back of the bathroom door. The oven needs a good clean and you definitely need a pair of oven gloves. All that a side, the cottage was lovely and location perfect.

The place was in a great location. We enjoyed going out and exploring the views from the cliffs and beaches in the local areas. The bungalow was extremely clean and beautifully presented. Also, the garden was secure for our pooch. Being away with a 3 month old baby, it certainly felt like a home from home. My other half was impressed with the local takeaways on offer. We would definitely visit again.

  • "We had a very enjoyable 2 week stay."

We were lucky with the weather so plenty of cliff top walks during our stay. Good location for the cliffs, Bridlington and Filey area. The bungalow was comfy and had everything we needed. It was a very quiet location with no road noise. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. It was fab to be able to have a lovely bath after a long day. Would definitely recommend and would return without hesitation. If I was to really nit pick I would suggest an outdoor washing line as it's a sunny garden and would be great to get your washing dry!!

  • "The property was very clean and as described."

The only issue we had was the large double right-hand side bed was in a poor state and very uncomfortable, fortunately, there were only three of us so we swapped into the smaller bedroom and used only the left and side of the large bed. I think it is most likely that someone at some time must have used the bed as a trampline as it was quite obvious that it had serious sping damage. Not wishing to sound petty but a bread knife would be a handy tool to have in the cutlery.

Really comfy beds and lovely bedding..plenty of coat hangers and storage The village itself is very quiet and the bungalow situated on a very quiet cul de sac....We came across the village pub and the locals made us feel really welcome and we joined in with their New Year celebrations A real little gem and will definitely book again Thankyou so much for letting us stay

The owner had supplied plenty of tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk to start us off on on our arrival. I do have one suggestion for the owner, blinds or curtains at the patio doors would make it easier to see the television when the sun is shining. Other than that everything was perfect. I would certainly recommend this property and would stay there again. One of the best we have stayed in.

Holiday let close by to the train station and with easy access to many local attractions. The facilities are of a high standard and quality. The WiFi signal is excellent. Instructions for use of cooker and heating would have been handy as there were none and outdoor space needs to be maintained. Unfortunately on arrival which was after stated time we had to wait a further hour for the cleaner to finish and some of the towels provided although clean were still damp.
