“A clean comfortable bungalow set in a quiet location.”

Enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. My elderly parents came and being a bungalow it was all on one level with no steps, so easy for them to get about. The shower cubicle in the en suite was easier too for them, rather than shower over a bath. Lovely conservatory to relax in. ...

Enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. My elderly parents came and being a bungalow it was all on one level with no steps, so easy for them to get about. The shower cubicle in the en suite was easier too for them, rather than shower over a bath. Lovely conservatory to relax in. A lovely welcome pack was included. I was expecting a washing machine as shown in the kitchen photos, especially as we were there for two weeks, so that photo needs to be amended as the space is now taken by a dishwasher. However there was a washing line and pegs provided. Lovely bungalow in a nice area, would return.

Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve, famous for its spectacular colonies of puffins and other seabirds nesting high on the chalk cliffs, is an absolute must for nature lovers, and there is plenty of good walking country for ramblers, with the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Wolds within easy reach. The area holds a wealth of historic houses including Sewerby Hall and gardens, and Burton Agnes Hall, both close to the village.
