The property

Fulfilling your culinary needs is a well-equipped kitchen where you will be able to prepare a home-cooked meal before gathering your loved ones within the dining room.

After your meal, look forward to sinking into the sofas within the sitting room, where you can unwind in front of the TV whilst the flame effect fills the room with warmth during those chilly winter evenings.

As the evening draws to a close, venture up the staircase to find two stylish bedrooms, comprising of a king-size bedroom and a double bedroom.

To the outside you will find a rear garden area, where you can choose to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining or soak up the sun before heading out for the day.

If you can tear yourself away from this delightful spot, a short stroll will bring you to a selection of pubs, a bistro and a chocolate factory, in addition to a shop for picking up any essentials.

For those feeling adventurous, you will discover walking routes upon the wonderful North York Moors National Park or the North Riding Forest Park where you will find Go Ape and excellent biking trails.

During the summer months, head to the coast to Scarborough where you can spend an afternoon at the beach or further afield is Whitby which plays host to the ruined Abbey which was Bram Stoker’s inspiration for “Dracula” as well as The Captain Cook Memorial museum.

Pickering 3 miles; Scarborough 16 miles; York 25 miles.

The beautiful village of Thornton Dale lies just two miles to the east of Pickering within The North York Moors National Park and the Dalby Forest. This is an idyllic location at the head of a beautiful valley and is a walkers, bikers and nature lovers paradise. Scarborough and Whitby are 13 and 20 miles away and offer all the amenities and facilities of two of the country's best coastal resorts. York and Castle Howard are about an hours drive away and offer all the history and culture that any holiday would need. The neighbouring market towns of Pickering ,Malton ,Kirbymoorside and Helmsley are great destinations and are the hubs for many summer festivals and shows. The National Park and Coastline offer many opportunities for a great day out. The North York Moors National Park is on the doorstep with miles of open moor to wander through.
