The property

Northallerton centre 1 mile.

A delightful detached bungalow with an elegant and pure finish, situated within the outstanding area of Northallerton.

Carrying an open yet warming feel throughout, this property is ideal for friends or couples wanting to enjoy a peaceful stay.

Through the courtyard and into the bungalow, you will arrive at a neat cloakroom, tucked away and tied with character.

An open plan living, kitchen and dining area is a signature piece of this layout, carrying soft furnishings and elevated by a lovely electric fire.

The neat and intricate attention to detail make this a perfect place to prepare your favourite meals, before sitting back and relaxing in style.

Moving round, a double bedroom hosts plenty of storage space, and echoes a natural wooden effect for simplicity and sophistication.

In the next room, a well-designed shower room is laced with a lovely white tone; a modern addition to the property.

Lastly, a twin bedroom completes the interior, with bold carpets, traditional extra's and a stand alone wardrobe to meet your needs.

Outside of the bungalow, a spacious courtyard area adds a glimpse of character, authentic and well-presented.

Further afield, the town of Northallerton is a pleasing visit, boasting market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays, adjoined by many high street stores.

Additionally, why not take a trip to the victorian resort of Saltburn, or the pretty beaches and coves of Runswick Bay?

An attractive bungalow for a heart-warming getaway.

About the location

Thirsk 9 miles.

Northallerton is a County town and administrative centre of North Yorkshire, located at the foot of a ridge dividing two river basin areas, the Wiske and the Cod Beck, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of the Vale of York, between the Hambleton Hills and the Yorkshire Dales. This thriving town boasts market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays, when both sides of the High Street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce, plus on the fourth Wednesday of the month the market is joined by a farmers' market. Despite its modest size, Northallerton has a number of independent and national shops, including Betty’s Tea Rooms, Lewis & Cooper, an outstanding delicatessan and wine merchant, award-winning butcher’s, artisan baker, greengrocers, two department stores, several supermarkets and bookshops. With good rail links to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and York, the activities are not just restricted to the countryside. Situated equidistant between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, the opportunities for exploration are endless. These include a day at the races at one of the many local courses, including Thirsk, a family trip to the unique Forbidden Corner at Middleham, a trip to a country house such as Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall and Castle Howard, or a round of golf. The restored Victorian resort of Saltburn, plus the pretty beaches and coves of Runswick Bay, Sand's End and Robin Hood's Bay, along with the town of Whitby, are all within one hour's drive away.
