The small, attractive village of Welburn is situated amidst gentle, rolling hills between York and Malton, 1.5 miles from Castle Howard. Pretty, stone cottages line the main street, which has a village pub serving food, a tea room and shop. The area is excellent for walking, cycling and exploring, with the market town of Malton 6 miles away and historic York 14 miles away.
