The property

Easingwold 2 miles.

A splendid, first floor barn conversion, set in a lovely tranquil location, perched on the hill and just two miles from the pretty market town of Easingwold.

Located in the grounds of the owner's home and sympathetically converted to a high standard, this lovely property is perfect for a peaceful hideaway for couples wanting to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Howardian Hills.

Beautifully appointed throughout, there is a spacious open plan living area, with a corner kitchen and a cosy and comfortable sitting area with a romantic woodburner.

The bedroom has a sumptuous super king-size bed, with glorious views over the open countryside, whilst outside there is a seating area.

A couple of miles away is the small, picturesque village of Crayke, perched on the hill, complete with a gastropub of some renown, whilst the affluent Georgian town of Easingwold is an absolute delight, with its fine architecture, cobbled market square and interesting selection of shops, cafes and traditional inns.

For walkers, the surrounding area has a wonderful network of paths and trails, leading through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Day trips to nearby York are essential to visit the many attractions, including the Jorvik Viking Museum, the National Railway Museum, York Minster and a walk around the medieval walls.

With easy access to the North York Moors National Park and the East Coast seaside resorts of Whitby and Scarborough, this outstanding property lends itself to a memorable holiday.
