    “A lovely holiday home with so much space.”

    The two conservatories were wonderful to admire the view from and it was very toddler friendly. The goats were great fun and the pool was amazing - enormous and really warm. The photos really don’t do this place justice - we will definitely be back soon.

Hartswood Farm Cottages

Malton 8 miles. Situated near the small hamlet of East Knapton, surrounded by open, working countryside, these four properties, including two lovely apartments, a ground-floor open plan barn conversion, and a delightful wing of a former farmstead are set within the owner’s large property and grounds. Ideally located, these Malton cottages are close to many attractions in the area, including stately homes, gardens and the seaside towns of Filey and Scarborough. York 18 miles; Scarborough 24 miles.

The market town of Malton has been the historic centre of Ryedale since Roman times, and has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly general market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers’ markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent countryside for walkers and cyclists. The impressive coastline is just 24 miles away, whilst the historic city of York is an 18 mile journey. A perfect base for touring the attractions of North Yorkshire.
