“Lovely cottage with good facilities and access to the pool was a welcome bonus for us.”

The garden is peaceful and we found the village in general to be very pleasant. Great location for exploring the North York Moors, with easy access to many towns and the city of York. The national railway museum in York was very interesting if you like trains, as is the steam railway from Pickering to Whitby. Filey is not too far away, which has both a cliffland and a sandy beech, with views of Flambough Head. Plenty of places see and there is a regular bus service too.
