This really is an ideal location for a group who enjoy the countryside for relaxing, sightseeing, walking or cycling.

Set over three floors, this delightful retreat offers a welcoming mix of contemporary and character features, perfect for a holiday escape with family and friends.

The sociable open plan kitchen / diner hosts all the amenities required to assist you in your self-catering requirements, including a range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, so you'll barely have to lift a finger when it comes to washing up.

Get the woodburning stove roaring as you sink into plush sofas, taking some time to reflect on the days events, before tuning into the Smart TV.

Make use of the lawned garden during a hot summers day, perfect for letting the little ones run around as you sit back with a glass of wine.

Once the sun has set, head upstairs to catch your rest in one of the seven bedrooms; on the first floor there is a king-size with en-suite bathroom, three doubles and a lavish bathroom, while the second floor hosts a double, two singles and a bathroom, giving you plenty of options.

Each bedroom has been wonderfully decorated in neutral hues and housing ample storage space for your personal items, with some of the first and second floor bedrooms enjoying fine views over the surrounding countryside, it'll be hard to choose just one!

The surrounding area is a walkers' paradise, accessed via a wide-network of footpaths from the village.

Head into the quaint villages or Carlton-in-Cleveland or Great Ayton on the banks of the River Leven and the boyhood home of Captain James Cook, or explore the nearby market towns of Stokesley, Helmsley and Yarm.

Head further afield to Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Runswick Bay or Whitby and enjoy a traditional day at the seaside taking in their sandy havens and attractions.

Tigh Ur is a lovely property in a tranquil setting, perfect for a varied holiday, anytime of the year.
